WOW!!! No sacks, no hits, running the ball, and the D holds Brady to 25 yards. Could not have expected better.

random 1st half Foxboro thoughts

Great read by Patterson for the pick throwing to Gronkowski on the Pats 1st drive.

Clay provides great mismatches or maybe its McCourty can't cover?

Interesting seeing Jordan help cover Gronkowski

Per Simms, They need to roll Tannehill out more. No ****, Captain obvious. Phil was right about the ****ty pass intereference call. The NFL is about overcoming adversity and this is where Philbin's demeanor will help. On a tangent, I have seen the Minnesota Gophers play a few times. Each time, they announcers point out how Minnesota will celebrate briefly but get right back to business. A good blue print for the phins.

OL isn't terrible. Its more trying to get the right pieces in the right places which phins are doing @ a glacier like pace. Maybe, the transition from the previous regime is not as easy as thought?

That said, I am impressed by Miller's burst. Its one cut and go. They need to keep the beef on the left (McK & Richie) and get a more fluid ORG (Yeatman?).

Great play call & clock mgmt before the 52 yd FG to go up 17-3. No way we see Meatball & the cornfeds roll like that.

I have to give props to Derrick Shelby from the Real U. He has got a motor.

They are currently playing like they were the first 3 weeks. Hopefully they keep it up in the second half

Worst PI call I have ever seen. That ref gave them there all their points.

Did we overlook the bills in anticipation of the pats during the bye?

This is a strong possibility.

Positive- what OL am I watching? This can't be the Dolphins! stellar protection. Both RBs looked good, Tanny on the $$.

Negative Nancy - Clay catches that touchdown pass and this game is over.

We look great. Makes you wonder what the hell our coaches have been doing the last three weeks

I see the players making the difference, with help from the coaches. This is the first time any of us has seen our team play a complete game for a half. We need to do the same in the second half and close this deal.

That was an excellent burst and good play on the ball -- easily could'a been an INT.

Excellent defensive play gets called PI. Hometown ref, that is all. He made up his mind to call PI and did, even though it was perfect D.
