They should have interest even if he's healthy. Kolb looks horrible.

ha ha kolb is hot garbage...thank god we don't have an awful contract like that...if and when he does come back he'll go out with a concussion for the year...god that guys terrible

Revelations:

CB Larry Parker - Been talking this guy up forever and a half. Even got Slimm on board liking him. Somehow he goes undrafted, and even worse he doesn't get signed with the first wave of undrafted free agent signees. He actually has to try out for a job with the Cardinals from among a huge group of tryouts. Totally unsurprisingly, he impresses in the tryout and gets signed. He picked off Kevin Kolb in the end zone of at least one practice. Yesterday at 3:45pm I tweeted out that if anyone was willing to give me 3:1 odds on undrafted cornerback Larry Parker of the Cardinals picking off a pass tonight, I'll take that bet. Sadly, I'd have lost that bet. Barely. Larry made a superb break on a ball and dove to the ground for a ridiculously impressive looking interception. The replay officials ruled the ball just barely touched the turf before he had full control. Mike Mayock aptly stated it doesn't matter because when the coaches watch that tape, they're going to count it and it's going to look good for him.

DT Tyrunn Walker - Where this dude came from, I don't know. I never once looked at his Tulsa tape. Sometimes they slip through the cracks, I guess. But what confuses the crap out of me is I watch him with the Saints and he looks big, a nice 300+ lbs defensive tackle that plays like a defensive tackle, has a lot of brute force in his game, takes on double teams, strong hands, etc. He made all kinds of plays tonight. But watch him back at Tulsa, he's a 6'4" and 280 lbs defensive left end that is as apt with an outside rush as he is the inside move or bull rush. He played at 280 lbs, that much I believe is verified. He showed up to his pro day 298 lbs though and ran a 4.91 (impressive). What the hell happened? Why the weight gain? The Saints appear to have embraced that trend and had him gain even more weight. What impresses me is this dude was a dominant defensive end for his level of competition at Tulsa, and he played like a defensive end. He played like an outside pass rusher, albeit a pretty big one that could make plays against the run and pass. The Saints are asking him to play in essentially a different body, and to play a whole new way...and he looks like he's been doing it for years. He was dominating the lower levels of the Cardinals depth chart at offensive line (which represents a pretty big jump upward from the level of competition he faced at Tulsa, mind you). It's enough that I'm keeping an eye on him. I like the story.

DE Martez Wilson - I liked him in college when he was a MLB. I loved his explosive qualities and balance, athleticism, pure power. The problem was he only looked like he knew what the hell he was doing a certain percentage of the time, which led to criticisms that he "takes plays off". If that's the case, the Saints may have done him a big favor moving him to defensive end where he won't be left to his own devices in space, and will have a job to do immediately off the snap. The dude looked GOOD as a pass rusher. He showed some serious potential. He's 6'4" and 250 lbs and ran a 4.42 at the Combine, with 36 inch vertical. It's downright scary that a guy like that showed some bend when it comes to getting under the offensive tackle's pads and coming back to the quarterback. The Saints are going to have some fun with him on obvious passing downs as a part time player.

DL David Carter - This was a guy I saw live at Shrine practice a year ago and I've loved him ever since. Guys that big and athletic don't grow on trees. He's a lot like Jared Odrick except he cost the Cardinals a fraction of the price, and he's being used IMO at a position more natural to him than what Odrick will be used in Miami this year. I think he's got big time talent and he's going to go down as just another great find along that DL. They've already done such a good job with Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell.

TE Rob Housler - It wasn't what Housler did in the passing game tonight that got me, although that was impressive enough. It was what he did as a blocker. The dude was a 6'5" and 248 lbs wide receiver wannabe coming out of FAU. He ran a 4.46 and was a receiving specialist. But he's added blocking fundamentals to his game, which showed during the game immediately, and then he showed it more by making a key block on a touchdown run. What he does in the passing game will be limited by the level of quarterback play they get and unfortunately, that looks bleak...but I remember liking this dude a lot coming out and I see no reason to believe I was wrong for liking him so much.

RB Travares Cadet - I know the background though I never watched him at Appalachian State. He's not exactly a total unknown. The Dolphins showed some interest in him during the Draft process, so they know who he is too. He made a lot of plays tonight in multiple phases, running, catching and returning the football. One to keep an eye on. The Saints are turning out to be pretty good at evaluating runners. Between Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram and Chris Ivory, all of whom I like a lot, they're really stacked there. Last year I remember liking Joique Bell last year, too. Obviously need to see more on Cadet but it's a team with a good eye for talent and maybe they found something they'll have a little hard time trying to keep if they try and stash him onto the practice squad like they did Joique Bell.

PR/KR Laron Scott - Never scouted the guy in college obviously at Georgia Southern but he looked great on that kick return and even though he gets criticized for not calling fair catch on that punt return, A) I love the fearlessness that leads to not calling that fair catch, and B) he didn't fumble the damn ball now did he? Interesting guy to watch going forward.

OT D.J. Young - The Dolphins have experience with this dude as I know they looked at him on a tryout last year, I believe. They maybe should have actually signed him because the guy I saw tonight looked pretty good. Again, nothing to fall all over yourself about, but a guy to maybe keep an eye on going forward.

david carter was in the backfield so fast on one tackle i thought he was a lb that shot the gap...he looked like a damn lb with the way he came firing into the backfield....at 300 damn lbs...impressive...cadet is someone i'm watching i think him or ivory goes free...i called him martell webster earlier today in another thread ha ha but martell wilson looked damn good rushing as an end yesterday...explosive as hell...wore bobbie massie out...couldn't handle his edge speed and quickness...houslers a definite mismatch and i heard he's been buzzing at cards camp
