First round: 14 hall of fame QB's

Rounds 2-17: 11 Hall of fame QB's

You may find a few flakes in the late rounds, but there be golden nuggets in the first.
 
You can find gold nuggets in the later rounds too but the odds are not good.Johnny Unitas was drafted in the 12th round and he is in HOF.
 
I didn't post it to explain some reason for taking a QB this year, at #2. I just thought it was interesting. The latest round a QB was taken and is now in the HOF is Bart Starr in the 17th round. You can find more nose nuggets in the later rounds than gold nuggets in the first round.

I thought it would always be the other way around.
 
Thats a good point. Maybe there is a 30% bust rate of 1st round QB's... but there is a helluva lot higher bust rate amount rounds 2+.
 
I don't care about having a HOF QB... I just want a competent one that doesn't throw INT's for TD's.
