some interesting info there regarding hamlin and grant. now i dont really want them b/c its basiaclly a Bell in the making. If we get a S i want a draftee.

also scope out the info regarding landry the guy claims he wont get past Minny. should stir things up via draft.
 
Well, there's a rumor that we're going to unload Renaldo Hill to Carolina for a pick. I'd take Hamlin and Allen as our starting S, and wouldn't really want to draft a S after drafting Allen last year.
 
I wouldn't want a DT at 9. Give Evans, Manny Wright, and Rod Wright a chance. Rod Wright was a 1st/2nd rounder if he didn't get hurt and Manny was most likely a 1st rounder if he didn't enter the supplemental draft.

the rumor never said it was for a pick. just said a deal regarding hill to carolina.
 
i hope he can gather a 4th or something.

I can't remember the exact thread it was under, but it was 2 or 3 days ago under one of the NFL Network threads. I'm not sure how much weight it actually carries, but it was said that we were trying to ship Renaldo Hill to Carolina, I'm assuming for a pick - not sure what player, if any, Hill would garner in return.
 
Thanks man. If true, I would expect us to go after Hamlin.

Its funny. I am starting to get the feeling that much like last year with Daunte, getting Porter was priority number one. Now, we seem far more involved in a lot of other visits and potential deals. Im very interested in what we do next because I have been pleasantly surprised so far this offseason.

I would make a bold prediction and say I have a feeling we will be making at least one very surprising draft pick on day one - a position that we as fans dont necessarily see as a need. My guess? A running back. OT but just wanted to add this.
 
well didnt we get a few 2nd tier guys before DC? or other way around?

and I think we will get curtis in FA. im just wondering where we go with offense? draft? or what cuz we havent' talked to neone in FA other then martin.
