Other than Joe Carter hitting the home run off of Mitch Williams and my beloved 1993 Phillies in game 6 of the World Series i have NEVER experienced a lower point as a sports fan. It was a crushing, gut wrenching loss to the Jets. I have trouble believing we blew it to this day, it was the worst loss in Dolphins history bar none.....
I can't even say "thanks for bringing this up because i had finally put it behind me" because i haven't. The horror of 30-7 and then Jumbo Elliot catching that TD are forever burned into my brain. I will never put this behind me, i will never forget!

You must be feeling good about the phils though. That was a great weeke, the yanks were in the process of beating the Mets for the WS and the Jets had the huge comeback. It's been downhill for the Yanks since then and it was downhill for the Jets after that win that season.

We only blew a 10 pt 4th qtr lead, you guys blew a 23 point 4th qtr lead. The MN Miracle was definitely a better comeback.

That was the worst/best meltdown/comeback of all time. I almost **** my pants when I checked the final score in the morning, and that was the last time I turned off a game, no matter how far ahead or behind we are.
A win is a win :)

True it was a better comeback BUT Marino absolutely PUNKING the Jets like that was classic.
