Happy Birthday Dan Marino

Happy 48th birthday to Dan Marino. With all the doom and gloom around here I couldn't think of a better way to lighten the mood than by recalling our favorite "Atta Boy Danny" moments. I have two.

My favorite as with most people's is the famouse fake spike against the Jets. It is a play I will never forget. I have included a link for all to enjoy.

My second is when finally decided to retire and not play for the Vikings. You see I grew up in North Dakota and as my love for the Dolphins grew so did my hatred for the Vikings. I coulnd't even fathom my childhood hero dawning a purple uniform (I can only imagine how Packer's fans feel).

So here's to you Dan, thanks for the memories. As dolphins fans we know you were a one of a kind that we will never see the likes of again.

Dan is used to seeing the Fins lose during the week of his birthday. But his best present to us was a Fake...that's right the ol' not really gonna stop the clock, I'm gonna throw a TD!!!
