Well I was going to put up a beautiful picture of a Canadian woman to show you that there is an equally wonderful country very near to you, but I couldn't decide who to put up...then I got all distracted and overwhelmed. :D
Anyway, we just had our Canada Day July 1st celebrations earlier this week and had a blast. Tonight we also had a nice feed so I guess we kind of celebrated your day too...very tasty kebabs with pork, green and red peppers, tomatoes, etc. Always a favorite in the summer for us. But they are second to my very favorite pulled pork recipe which actually comes from your country. I use a recipe from the Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom at Disney and OMG it's fantastic. So thanks for that, and for being nice neighbours! <----That's how we spell "neighbor"
Oh and for the soldiers who are away from home ensuring your nice lifestyle and ours, let's hope they are home safe one day soon.
