Hard Knocks Game Thread

If Hogan is open all the time then they need to have Hogan playing to see if its real. He was certainly wide friggin open down the sideline with absolutely no one covering him. That is very concerning that no one noticed til much much later.

But, PAT DEVLIN is our next franchise QB!!!!!!

In all seriousness if Hogan really is getting open all the time, get him some opportunities against the first team D of Carolina this week. Lets see what the guy can do. Its not like any of these other guys are really stepping up. If this kid is a player, we need him. We need anyone who can play at WR right now.

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's
Always tomorrow
Lean on me.....

I thought Philbin actually came off looking real good after the Chad conversation. And Chad took it well and was respectful. Both parties came away looking as good as possible considering. Is the show just making Hogan look better than he is for ratings? Sean Smith looks very good. Anyone see that one handed catch by Fasano in the end zone? Tannehill singing was the highlight.
Everyone on the team, players and coaches, have been impressed with Hogan since the start of training camp.

ummmmm. 7/11 should be starting. Hogan looks good

Did you see the route combination he put on Jones? Wow completely broke his ankles...

Chad looked and acted guilty as hell. If I didn't do something I would be singing from the mountain tops! The "I've never been in trouble before coach" shows his guilt. Sad to have so much and piss it away in a second.

This is the impression I got as well. Damn, good luck!

Easy now. Can he prove it against some better players before we declare he should be starting? Geez. One step at a time. Agreed if he truly is doing what they are saying, give him some more opportunity against better defenders, then take it from there.

Honestly, Im stunned that when I logged on after the show, there wasnt already a thread started that compares him to Wes Welker. But, trust me, even after I type this...... there will be one.

Hoooooogan!!!! Still early, but that kid definitely looked awesome. Hope he keeps it up! We could definitely use that kind of playmaking ability on offense.

I like hogan because he played lax. He must have been a sick middie. He has those ankle breaking double moves and can really get people to turn their hips.

My concern with him is, can he set people up to get open in the direction he is supposed to go? In lax, you do those moves with the ball or off a pick. It is not as scripted. I dunno, maybe the WCO let's himmake route adjustments.

Regardless, i am rooting for him.

Tannehill is no shrinking violet; looks like he can step right in and take charge; Moore is a really good guy and very supportive - sincerely so. Easy to understand why all his teammates respect him.

In the meeting when Philbin made dude turn around. BAM!!! A big 'ol set shaved on the back of his neck. lol. I was dying.

I knew it was just hollywood make believe when Sean Smith actually looked like a top notch corner. He even made some nice tackles .... unless that was a stunt double :)

Dude, he was covering Chad Johnson. As we all know, its a much different story when he is covering receivers that are actually good like Andre Johnson.
