I posted this question some time ago, and I am posting it again. Does anyone know who the team will be, and when they will start airing it?

As far as I know, there will be no show this season. The Bears were originally thinking of doing it, but decided against it, and no other team wants all those cameras in their training camp. You can't say it really worked out for the Ravens or the Cowboys. If anything it made some of the front office and coach people look like jack@sses at times.

I agree, but it is so great to get a behind the door look at what goes on. B/C I know I have millions of questions like the rest of, and that shed some light on what they do and go through.

I also see the flip side, that it is a distraction to a team in a billion dollar industry!

The show is off this season. Although I never saw it (it wasn't worth paying for the porn station....errrr....HBO to get that) I heard interesting things about it. I guess they couldn't find any coaches who were willing to let the cameras follow them around so radio personalities could ridicule them for hours on end this year. Too bad.

I wish Miami would do it. See all the players and all that. That would be cool....the distraction would suck though.

are you being serious?

cinemax - aka skinamax.. or showtime even.. but HBO???

they have every good series on tv right now..

sopranos
the wire
oz - which is over now
band of brothers - over now
mind of a married man
curb your enthusiasm
and hard knocks - apparently over now.

your parents not get you cable yet?

btw, hard knocks was sweet.. not because i liked the teams, but like someone else said.. it was sweet to see the real deal.. behind the scenes.. it is like the sound bites.. i love them.

LOL very true and Don't forget Arliss...

i have to admit as a fan of football i loved it, but if i were a coach id say heck no. tc is to important of time to have guys who are trying to make the team and learn the system worrying about an hbo camera .coaches should be focused on teaching and evaluating players than worrying about how did i look for the camera today.

band of brothers was a great mini series you know you can buy it now. most of the other ones are getting to nasty for my taste .but to each there own.

i agree Va.. as a coach, as much as the fans of the team would LOVE it.. i cant imagine it would help the team concentrate or play better.. huge distraction..

and minus.. i intentionally left off arliss.. if it was anyone else other than the toolbox that plays Arliss himself..his name escapes me right now.. i would like the show.. but i just hate the main guy.

curb your enthusiasm is one of the funniest shows on tv..

the only other series that is truely love that is NOT on hbo..

LUCKY!.. i think it is on Bravo or FX.. cant remember at the moment.. i have Tivo.. so i can never remember a channel or a time.. but it is my favorite show..

the main reason i kept hbo was for inside the nfl and the boxing because i refuse to pay for the 39.95 pay for view on the big fights when there aired a week later. i have to say i thought inside the nfl took a step back last yr guess im not used to all the changes yet.

The guys who plays Arliss is Robert Wuhl...not a bad actor; if you like baseball, or good movies you should check him and Tommy Lee Jones in the movie Cobb, about Ty Cobb at the end of his life.

About HBO, OZ is probably the best show I have ever seen, Curb Your Enthusiasm is probably one of the funniest (second to the Simpsons), and there America Undercover series is awesome. The America Undercovers about forensic science (autopsy I think the show is called) give me the willies. Very good shows all around.

i forgot about america undercover.. good stuff.. the show they had about the UFC was intense..

Robert Wuhl is his name.. yeah.. i have seen Cobb.. it was decent.. maybe i just dont like the character Arliss.. i dont know. i just dont like the show.. i watch it occassionally for the star appeal.. they had thurman thomas on there once. :D

It is on FX and is a great show, as is the "The Shield" also on FX.
All the best shows are on cable.

I would hate if they used the Dolphins for Hard Knocks, it would be a terrible distraction.

How about the Jets?:)
