-Sean smith looked really good in Epi 2, he shutdown ocho on slants, curls, almost 90% of the routes he covered chad on. This is why i dont want them giving up on sean smith yet, i think the talent is there, it just dont seem to show up in the games for some reason. Hopefully it will against carolina this week.
-Mike sherman is making his presense felt. Threatened to cut egnew if he didnt start focusing and running the correct routes. Expects perfections out of his WR and TE's.
-Philbin and bob griese watchin game film together. sharing opinions.
-Philbin has a nice talk with CJ before cutting him, which seemed to gain some respect from chad johnson, chad showed respect to philbin for supporting him in this tough time for chad. Philbin wished him well and they parted ways, chad thanked him for the opportunity.
-Ireland looked frustrated when he got off the phone with someone who told him garrard was out a month. Never seen him that frustrated.
-Jake Long and Some DE got into a nasty fight, had to be broken up fast. Incognito came to his defense.

From what im seeing , players are responding to tannehill coming out on to the field, you dont get that same feeling with moore.

Chris Hogan looked good. Jim Turner is hilarious. Tannehill looks pretty rad too. Maybe it's the way HBO is presenting the scenes he's in?

The beginning was sad with Philbin's son. How he holds himself together like that I'll never know.

I am not kidding or exaggerating when I say this, this was probably the best episode of Hard Knocks that HBO has ever made. I also wouldn't be surprised if this is the highest watched episode ever. The beginning was heartbreaking with Philbin talking about his son, there was a lot of great topics during the show and the ending with Chad being cut was something that is hard to describe. Philbin took charge, but you do have to feel a little sad for Chad.

Didn't even mention Naanee. He is supposedly wowing everyone in camp, yet they haven't mentioned him. Preview for next week shows a lot of focus on WR. Guess we wait and see.

the fact that sean smith was able to lock down ocho all over the field should tell you just how much ocho really had left...guy was washed the hell up if sean smiths taking him out i can tell ya that

Sean Smith looked good? as in he physically looks good, or he performed well?

I saw him a) holding A LOT; and b) covering a washed-up 34yr old WR

I will say he looks good once he does something, I don't know, when it matters.

It makes you realize these guys are people as well and that even though that in the NFL its 'Just business' Its still hard to tell a guy he's cut/fired.

Did you see Johnson's face when Philbin showed him the door? Oh man!

Joe is for real. A no bull coach.

I am looking forward to the next game. I bet that we will see "7/11" during the next scrimmage.

lmao...more fuel for my michael egnew blows fire...sherman "you were terrible...if i was the gm i would cut you"

 i knew buttercup was an awful pick
