If you are interested and do some background, give your opinion on the new rookie offensive line talent on the team. If you have seen any of these guys play your input would be appreciated as well. This will be the most critical area of change in addition to the change at quarterback, and maybe more so. Here is some basic information on some of the new talent:

Satele (Hawaii)- Can play guard or center, did not have to run block that often in Hawaii, but is quick and has a "nasty" attitude.

Mormino (Eastern Michigan) - had some of the longest arms at the combine for a center. Can play guard or center. Hard worker and strong.

Esera (Hawaii) - played where Hawaii needed him to play, but played at left tackle during senior year. Had a 5th round grade prior to draft.

Wilson (UAB) - had a 4th round grade by some prior to draft. Had some injury history, but was considered the best run blocker by Profootball Weekly among the tackles. He is one of my sleepers to make the team.

Tubbs (Clemson) - started for Clemson at least three years. I know little about him, so any of you that watched ACC ball please chime in.

Parker (Arkansas) - I did see this guy and while McFadden is a great back, this guy had a great deal to do with his success. IF he got to you he was a mauler. But what is in question is his ability to get to guys at the next level.

I think at least three or four of these guys have strong shots to make the team. And the rest may make the practice squad. Please give you input.

Tala Esera had the flu during the combine, and against his agents advice decided to participate and put up some bad numbers. He redeemed himself at his pro-day but the damage had already been done.

Satale will probably stay as a Guard. He's extremely good at pulling so at guard he will have the best chance to show off that ability.

Mormino was a steal. He will be either a back-up center, or possibly even a starter someday. Joe staley spoke highly of him, even saying drew was the most talented guy on their line.

i like what we have done but we need that one guy on the O-line that is a big time player i hope veron can have a break out year this year and be that for us

it's actually looking more and more like Satele will be at C and Hadnot will be put at guard...which is better, in my honest opinion, because Hadnot was a much better G than C

I am really counting on Vernon Carey having an awesome season this year. I think Vernon ought to think big. Not only should he think about proving to everyone he can handle being the big dog left tackle on the Oline, but he should also prove to everyone that he's good enough to make it to the Pro Bowl this year. It'll also make the Miami Hurricanes program look good too. He's got one of the best Oline coaches in the NFL. He should take full advantage of it and bust his azz this year.

The Phins need one or two Pro Bowl caliber guys on the line. I think Vernon has the talent to be one of them if he works hard at making it happen. It's no accident that LT had such a great season last year and Phillip Rivers made it to the Pro Bowl. The Chargers also had 2 Pro Bowlers on on the Oline ... 3 if you count the fullback.

I love the young talent we are getting for our O-Line. I am expecting it to be a good unit this year and a great unit next year.

this is great now the dolphins have some of their own young linemen to develop rather than pickin up every other teams left overs.

My only questions is where does LJ Shelton fit into the picture. He couldn't handle tackle duty last year. Will right tackle be his spot or are we going to need to find a different right tackle and move him back to guard or does he not fit into our OLine scenario at all?

If our o-line comes together in time, we probably will not see any spectacular knock down blocks or huge holes. We will probably go about our victories without any flare, just a business like approach. Other parts of the team may get more recognition (ie: QB, recievers, running backs and even defense in scoring). But hopefully when we look up at the scoreboard we will have "W" and the stats will probably show a consistent 100 yard effort for the running game. That's how San Diego quietly became one of the best offenses.

Each player just doing there job each and every play.

If Shelton can't play RT I would rather part ways with him than pay his high salary to play a position that we can fill with younger cheaper guys.

I am an Arkansas fan so I know a little about Parker. I like Parke and think he has a real good shot at making the team. I don't expect him to be a big time contributer this year but I do see him getting some playing time down the road and maybe even becoming a solid starter for us at some point. I wouldn't count the guy out though and wouldn't be shocked if he surprised me a bit this year.

does anybody remember the last time we had a olineman make the pro bowl ? i cant remember .

I think Wilson and Esera have a good shot of making the team.

Satele will start at C IMO

I would love to go after Gaither using our 2nd or 3rd in the supplemental draft [that's if he's in it].
