Well guys, i think was the roughest stretch of games if seen in awhile.

Yeah we should have won that game last week, but its around what i expected our record to look like.

The only real challenge i see left is the Steelers, as far as NE goes i
really dont think of them as a huge problem, i mean JT is gonna let
Brady know he's back in the AFC East, and i think Brady will have happy
feet in those games.

Anyway 11-5 here we come again.

I kind of agree with you, but there is no way that a 2-4 team can feel good about their remaining schedule with Pittsburgh and New England. Those are 3 very possible losses, and in today's NFL you are one lucky dog to get a playoff spot at 9-7. I know we've had some success at upsetting New England over the years, but this team hasn't executed in order to put away comparable teams.

Get real. Our schedule was brutal so far yea. But, its no cakewalk the rest of the way either. New England is tough as hell and we still have 2 games with them. Pittsburgh will definately be a slug fest. And dont forget about Houston. They are as talented on offense as any team in the league right now and even if they werent, when was the last time we beat them? I wouldnt call the 2 road divisional games vs. Jets and Bills guarenteed wins either.

I would be stunned if we lost to Tampa, Jacksonville, Carolina, or Tennessee. With those wins that gives us 6. It wont be easy to get 4 wins out of the rest of those games and 10 wins is no lock to get in the way Cinci and Houston are playing. Baltimore is going to be a factor as well. To win the division it will take at least 11 wins and at least a 5-1 mark in the division to win that tiebreak.

Are you all insane... We did not kill the Jets on Monday night, we beat them. This week we need to bounce back and beat these guys and then to NE while they are coming from a bye week.

It's very easy to be 2-6 and besides the Steelers, The Jags or anyone of those teams decide to show up and this season could be really sour!

I agree. This weeks Jets game is going to be an all out war...

Even though we are 2-4 and still have the Pats x2, the Steelers, Houston (who we have never beat) and at the Jets, this team is much better then it was a year ago at this time. IMO we find 6 wins the rest of the way out.

I'll be happy with 8-8 and Henne making progress. I don't see us as being in the playoffs.

:up:I agree, we are better... but I think you'll agree, this is football and if we lose the next 2, it doesn't mean we are to switch to panic mode.

The only way we make the playoffs is to win the divison. That aint gonna happen. No way. We will be lucky to be 8-8. And Given our schedule that was pretty much the prediction before the season. Next year will be the year to add talent w/o a cap.

THe thing with the Stillers game is that it really depends on what's going on with them when we're playing them. If they've wrapped up the division, they may just put that game on cruise control, and we shouldn't have a hard time with it. Of course, if they haven't wrapped anything up, then it's going to be a struggle.

We're building this team for 2010 and 2011.

Building it through the draft.. Which is the way I like it after the horrible drafts we have had before the trifecta.

This season would be a bonus if we made the playoffs.... But it's highly unlikely ( I don't care what happened last year with that breeze of a schedule against crappy backup QB's and crappy teams)

Steelers will be resting its starters for the playoffs like Tomlin did last year.

Going into New England will not be easy. We've also never beaten the Texans, who are still a fairly good team even though they haven't really met their high expectations this year. The Steelers are definitely a challenge. Even the Bills and Jets are dangerous because they are divisional foes who we will be traveling on the road to play. So i can't really buy that the toughest part of our schedule is behind us.
