That's because teams that have a chance at getting to the playoffs and possibly winning a Super Bowl don't want the added distraction. You'll always see circus teams or teams looking to fabricate media buzz on Hard Watch. After the Ravens, teams have tried to stay away from this.

I always thought hard knocks was to cornicle the life of training camp not necessarily a documentary on the miami dolphins...they stop filming after training camp no? The dolphins needed hard knocks...any publicity is good publicity. Its not hard knocks fault that we suck.
Wrong....the ratings are the highest ever for the show.
Well to be fair there was no hard knocks last year so I think that has a little something to do with the ratings.

Do you actually think this is because of the Dolphins or football fans want something to watch on a tuesday night?
Oh come on now. You know as well as me , this team has lots of high hopes. Even the most generous fans think we can win 8 maybe 9 games, tops.

No one wanted to be on the show...We were like the 9th team asked and accepted...
It doesn't matter...HBO is thrilled and it obviously was not a mistake on their part.
Well of course. But that makes them interesting to us. Ratings go up every year. That's how it will always be. It's a bad economy right now for one. Television is cheap at-home entertainment for an entire family. HDTV. Big flat screens. 3D. HBO. People love this stuff.
