Would anyone want the team to have another go around with Hardknocks? I am not sure I would. However I think it would cool to see the differences with the new coaches around. Especially with the way all the players, at least offensively, seem to be really excited about the changes.

I wouldn't , team has had way too many distractions of late. Hard Knocks would just keep the spotlight on us besides I don't think it is even possible according to this article from HBO.
Right away that rules out many of the teams you may have been hoping for such as all the ones you saw play this weekend and all of the #1 and #2 seeds who play next. That leaves us with EIGHT possible teams that could be tapped. Here they are:

Arizona Cardinals
Buffalo Bills
Chicago Bears
Jacksonville Jaguars*
New York Giants
Oakland Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers
St. Louis Rams

I agree. Like I said I am not sure if I am totally in love with the idea. I am just really curious to see how things are behind the scenes since we have the new coaches. As a matter of fact, I'd like to know how it is since we got rid of those cancerous players.

Are the rules that were listed there legitimate? Because, if they are, they have to be new. To wit:

1. Philbin was a new coach.
2. Bengals had been a previous playoff team.
3. Cowboys and Bengals had repeated within 10 years.

So the rules would have to be new if they are remotely true now.

I think they did change the parameters recently

Many have speculated already on which team will be featured in 2014 but none have emerged as probable just yet. But Reddit user preludeoflight has narrowed the field down considerably using the rules that the NFL put in place to govern the selection of a 2014 Hard Knocks team. Here are the the rules in question:

That team doesn’t have a new head coach.
That team didn’t make the playoffs in either of the previous 2 seasons.
That team didn’t appear on Hard Knocks in the last 10 years.

Chicago, Jacksonville, or Buffalo would interest me the most of the teams listed. Pitt and NY are very old squads with old school coaches so I think they are out. The Rams could be intriguing but I don't see Fischer being on board.

Nah. Maybe in a few years.

I'd love it. It's what got my wife into football recently. She likes the stories in camp, personal stories, drama, etc. So she has seen all games with me since she has gotten to know the personal side of players. Hasnt missed a game with me since they did Miami.

I would place my money on the Rams.

-Bradford coming back from injury.
-Jeff Fisher
-Michael Sam

- Agree. As far as us it was great to see all the coaches and the interaction but they focused on lots of guys who never even make the final like 7 - 11 and the accountant TE dude. Until we get the team playing well and a few vet leaders arise I would think no way especially after the crap last year.
They all need to focus on getting better not playing to the cameras. No distractions.

I'd hate to see my team have to go through that nonsense again but I'd be the first one to watch it.

By that time of the year we are pretty desperate for football and jump on any little tid bit of Fins news like throwing a junkie a rock or bag of dope.

I'd hate it if I was a Dolphins coach or player. Especially me personally, I think I'd need to slam a 12 pack to deal with HBO coming into my workplace.

The end result I want is for this team to do well and make the playoffs and I don't see how hardknocks helps.

I thought it would be rough on my own personal schedule, I freek out every time the game isn't Sunday at 1 but it fit in nicely last time and I was anxiously awaiting each episode.

I don't want this but if you put it on I'll jump on it like a pathetic junkie.

Not gonna lie I would like to see the Johnny Football show in Cleveland on Hard Knocks.

Is it common knowledge around here that the Dolphins were one of the few teams to volunteer for Hard Knocks last season? And I think for a time we may have been the only team volunteering. Marvez mentioned it on WQAM sometime during the season but I don't remember seeing a thread on it.

Anyway, from the list I would like to see:
1. Buffalo
2. Chicago
3. St.Louis

My first reaction would be "hellz to the no" but I feel like if it did happen, from a public-image standpoint, the Fins would look better than they have in the past. Hickey's very professional in every interview I've watched him, and I would doubt Philbin lets anything get out of hand with the players any longer.

I think it'd be interesting to watch Tannehill's development under Lazor, but perhaps that's best for off-camera, we don't need any of this boom-or-bust season preparation being taped.
