Chargers C Nick Hardwick underwent surgery last week to repair a severe sprain in his right foot. Because the injury was misdiagnosed during the season, Hardwick continued to play and damaged the foot further. Though full recovery is expected to take four to six months, it's still largely up in the air: "I think I'll be ready to go by the season," Hardwick said Thursday. "If not, I'll definitely be there when it starts getting interesting."
