Hardy Released!

Dang, that kinda sucks. THe bengals are my other team (kinda the home team around here). I hate to see Hardy go.

Im guessing our starting LB's this year will be Zach, Seau and Crowder. Why do we need an aging Hardy? For the 10-20% that we play a 3-4? I just dont see it. He will be a backup on our team, and hes not coming to Miami to be a backup.

In anycase, I dont think Saban is interested in another 30+ year old LB. Theres plenty of proven, old LB's lingering around in FA - Warrick Holdman, Anthony Simmons, etc.

I'd love to see Kevin Hardy in a 'Fins uniform, but that's just my homerism talking...I-L-L I-N-I

Since Saban has said he would like to improve the depth at linebacker, it would not surprise me if they signed Hardy

For some reason I really do not see Saban going after a 31 yr old LB. IF he were say 27... then maybe. I really doubt we go older for LBers. Esp at his $$

Think Saban could try to sign him on the cheap but somebody will give him more money. My pick: The Vikings need another a veteran LB in case their young LB's continue to suck. They still have cap room and are surprisingly spending money this year.

and why dont u have thomas in there i dont think none of them could make him sit on the bench

If Hardy is signed, Seau is released. Simple as that imo.

how has anything Saban done shown you it would be that simple?

A 6-4 259lb LB. I think Saban would have an interest here if the price is right. That's the big question though. Is the price right?

Very true...it's for certain that Moore doesn't fit in with Saban's D....He'd be a good pickup, I think, but as you stated the $$ is the big question...that is why he was cut from Cincy...

Yeah, or even Moore...he certainly doesn't fit into Sabans D....
