I have to guess that they still might work a restructure out on Harrington being why he's still on the roster. We'll know late tomorrow, as his bonus is due Wednesday...
As to Mare...get over it folks, he's not an overpaid kicker like many seem to think. When he first signed the contract, it was 4 yrs ago and he was paid commensurate as one of the top 2-3 kickers. He's been inconsistent since then, as far as accuracy, but makes up for some of that with his touchback percentage. At his salary, with his history, he's not overpaid. Would I like to see the FG % improve, absolutely but it has to be tempered with the facts that a) there are no better options in FA and b) there's no guarantee that a bargain basement FA kicker is going to be any more accurate or be able to kick a pressure kick versus what Mare gives us...
