harrington draws interest from panthers

Good for Joey. I really hope he goes somewhere, gets a chance and takes off. It's too bad it didn't work out with him in Miami, but I don't know that there is a guy who deserves success in the NFL more than Joey Harrington. I will be rooting for him big time should Delhomme ever go down.

Me too. Completely agree.

I'd love to see Joey do well in this league, I wish it was for the Dolphins. I read a rumor that Jake's job isn't safe and that's why they are looking at Joey.

If they are giving him an oppertunity, I would be pulling so hard for Joey to win that job.

I wish Joey all the best but if I were the Panthers I'd make an offer sheet for Lemon before signing Joey.

Anybody have any idea how much money Carr is going to command?

It'll be the same old Joey, he'll look like he'll dominate the opponents defense with tight completions in the heart of the defense and then make those 2-4 bonehead throws where the defender should of/did intercept it.

He won't change.

2-4 throws per game is only a slight improvement.

I think he was better in Miami than Detroit. Hopefully the longer he is out of the hell hole, that is Detroit, he will continue to improve.

EDIT for any Detroit Dolphin Fans: I'm not bashing Detroit the city, I'm bashing the Detriot Lions' football franchise.

Good for Joey, I wish the best for him. He had a tough career in the NFL, tainted by Matt Milen's incompetance!!

I doubt CAR gets Carr, too expensive, and I have a feeling Carr will want to go into a starting gig.

Joey had a lower passer rating in Miami than he did his last two seasons in Detroit, so I am not sure where the improvement was. The thing about Joey is that he has never had a completion % at 60% or more, he hasn't even reached 58% for that matter. And after 5 years that says a lot. He is going to be a backup for the rest of his career IMO.

Well its good to bring in competition for the starting job... but since we are all well aware Joey doesn't like throwing the long ball, I wonder who their 3rd reciever will be who gets the most receptions? (the Wes Welker of Carolina)

Maybe all he needs is some solid coaching. He never got it in Detroit and he certainly didn't get any last season.
