and hopefully more than that. The season is done, but by no means am I throwing the towel in. I just want Joey to solidify himself as equal or better than Cpep. Pep would have been killed today, therefore Harrington has earned his spot. Joey for life. Let the Joey supporters uprising begin!

Again, I never was a Daunte fan or trasher, but went along with him as it was Saban's decision and move. Even up to the game today, never bad mouthed Daunte, but I have watched Joey today and you could just sense HOPE! It was definitely a better team out there and confident. Penalties and a couple plays hurt them, but they looked like a contender. So yes, I am for keeping Joey in!

Yes Joey is the better QB i couldnt agree more

He's no Marino, he's no Elway...but he played sharp and under a lot of pressure he played a great first game for us. I can't wait to see him play again. I can NOT say that same thing about Culpepper.

Joey didn't cause waves as the 2nd string quarterback...it would really be cool (and smart for the team) if Daunte would take that roll until is honestly ready to compete for the job.

It's hilarious how ecstatic you guys are about a guy who threw picks that gave the other team points and only mustered 10 pts. himself. What are you guys seeing?

Joey earned another chance today IMO, he should start next week against the Jets. And he should take ALL the first string snaps in practice this week so he's better prepared.

Let's say this. Daunte's QB rating for game 1 vs. the Steelers was 48.6. Joey's rating for his first start vs. the Patriots was 58.2. I say we play Joey next week. If Joey's QB rating is above the 71.9 that Daunte had vs. Buffalo in game 2, we keep him in as starter. If not, we put Daunte back in. Play it by the numbers. At this point I see nothing to lose by this. It should silence all critics on both sides of this issue. Just IMO.

Let Joey Play

I agree they looked so much improved today than the rest of the games prior. As much as I like Daunte, Joey needs to remain the QB as long as he continues to give us a chance to win. Right now Daunte does not give us that opportunity. Maybe Nick was using this game to wake Daunte up, but right now in my book Joey Harrington needs to remain the Fins QB.

:dolphins:

We saw speed and decision-making. Picks weren't totally his fault:
1) pick one was long pass following penalties that weren't his fault. Pats saw it coming. It wasn't a great throw (similar to Daunte's pick in Pitt game) but wan't as bad as the Daunte pic near the endzone in the buffalo game.
2) tipped ball...in the PROs if you touch it you catch it!

Keep putting the best guy on the field. When Daunte is healthy let them COMPETE for the starting spot. No egos, no money involved...

I want the Dolphins to win and win with the qb that give them the best shot to do so.
