The Bears are generaly QB Killers. The only QBs they allowed to play decently were Matt Leinart and Joey Harrington.. While he didnt really have a good game against the Bears, he didnt completely implode either.. That bodes well for us down the road.. We won't fact a defense like Chicago again this season.

Well when you consider the prince [ Manning ] sucked against that defense and Joey threw 3 TD's I would say that is quite a statement fellas

thats because though harrington sucks, he doesnt suck worse than eli.

Harrington only did good because the defense pratically put the offense on the goaline.

anybody can score on a 30 yard field boys.

but we did beat them so I guess we can crown joey the next dan marino??

99.9% of america was sure the bears would destroy us, including me.
happy for the win no doubt, but I won't allow myself to look much more into that game than an early christmas present.

To say that he played better than Eli is one thing, but to say he's outright better than Eli because of each of their games against Chicago isn't a way to measure it.

I mean Leinart did good against them, and he's played badly in most other games.

maybe the dumbest thread in the history of finheaven

Wow, I appreciate it.. I somehow beat the "Move Zach Thomas to Safety" thread!

:cooldude:

Oh, and are you honestly trying to tell me that Eli Manning played better against the Bears than Harrington did?

If you watched the game, it's a little different take. Harrington's first td of 6 yards was a very good play by him buying time and finding the open receiver. The second TD was blown coverage, and any QB could have hit a wide open receiver on the Goal Line. The third TD was in all likelyhood an INT but Chambers took the ball away from the DB. He also threw two bad INT's. I am not bashing Joey, I like the guy, I think he's the best speaking QB in the NFL. If he were running for Congress, I'd vote for him the way he presents himself. He played very admirable against the Bears, but he didn't make a "statement."

eli manning is a 100 times better qb than harrington..are you serious bro>?

he was comparing one game of each against the Bears. Not their careers or this season just how they played against the common opponent the Bears

i just don't see the point of this thread though. The dolphins still suck. they're still 3-6. I don't care if we win 9 straight to end the season. They still shouldnt have lost 6 of their first 7 games. It's embarrassing

Congratulations on being "TOP DOG." Anything positive said about Harrington is sure to draw criticism from some. The whole point about being on a short field has some validity for scoring a lot of points, however, moving a team in the redzone is the toughest part of the field to generate offense. If I am not mistaken, Miami's 298 yards of total offense is the most against the Bears this year.

Where I think Joey played exceptionally well against the Bears is he avoided a lot of negative plays...0 sacks kept Miami from being in 2nd and 3rd and long plays in which the Bears defense becomes a "BEAST." Overall, given the context, I thought Joey played extremely well. The pick by Alex Brown was just a "phenomenal" play and not a poor play on Joey's part. That could just as easily of been a TD pass.

Oh yeah, personally, I don't think this thread beat out the "Move Zach Thomas to Safety" thread, but better luck on future threads and I hope you keep trying. Have you considered making a "Move Zach Thomas to QB" thread? :D
