I realize that the likelihood of any of these guys all of a sudden getting a whole lot better is pretty low but for some reason I would almost feel as comfortable with one of these guys starting this season than Culpepper (or Brees for that matter).
Don't get me wrong, I think that Pepp and Brees can both be elite talents but 2 things concern me:
1) Both are coming off serious injuries. Culpepper has always relied on his legs to get solid yardage and that likely won't be an option at least for a while. Brees' is just as bad considering he tore his throwing shoulder,
2) This only concerns me about Culpepper. FUMBLES FUMBLES FUMBLES
