after reading some of the insane threads on this board, i now understand why the national media is so hard on fins fans...
 
whats wrong with joey harrington? he's a good backup... probably the best one we have had since erickson
 
I support winning, and if Culpepper plays the first half next week like he has the first two games, he should be put on the bench!
 
not sure exactly what this is about.. but Daunte made it thru the 1st two weeks so the knee shouldnt bee much of a prob as the season progresses... Joey will be lucky to see the field this year, lame fans just love to call for the Qb who isnt on the field. We've seen it for Jay.. A.J. and Sage before.. no suprise that after 2 sub-par games with Daunte people have given up on him already. The same people who call for Joey now would be crying for Daunte again after 1 bad game...

first half of next game??????? what????? theres no doubt he hasn't played well, but any intelligent fan would give him more like HALF A YEAR to get used to recievers he's never thrown to..... did you see Gus Frerrotte in the first half of last year?


i bet you were the same kind of person calling for "start sage" last year...


did you watch the cleveland browns game????


did you also see how the second half of last year Gus Frerrotte gained some timing and started throwing the ball effectively??ok now let's add in 3 more things to hopefully change your mind.



1.do you think daunte culpepper has more potential than gus frerotte?

2. did you watch any of Joey Harrington's performance over the last couple years????

3. You're going to give up on someone we spent a SECOND ROUND PICK on after 2 and a half games?

Someone who is incapable of making an argument in defense of a player(s) they favor, even though said player(s) looks like utter crap on the field.?
