Lions | Harrington trade could take place during draft
Wed, 26 Apr 2006 16:27:48 -0700
During a meeting with the media, <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/16/nfl">Detroit Lions CEO Matt Millen answered a question regarding the possibility of QB Joey Harrington being traded during the NFL Draft weekend. Millen responded, "It could get done. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, then it doesn't. I'm more concerned with the Draft right now and how it gets done. It could play a part of it. If it does, then great." Damn Millen :fire:

o..he'll give in eventually.

Really though, it doesn't matter if we trade for Joey today, draft day or even next week. The pick we are offering is for next year's draft, not this years.

Millen makes himself look more and more like a horses *** every day.....if that were possible.

we gettin harrington no matter what, if we get him soon and waste a 6th next year thats great because he can practise with us early. if that doesnt happen lions will release him like in 2 months before him bonus is due and in that case we still get joey and dont even waste a draft pick.its a win/win situation.

I am posting in this thread because this is the only one on the main page that isnt about Ricky, Ronnie, or another RB... :shakeno:

Thats right 14 of 15 are about the same damn thing... :fire:

Moving on... Go Harrington trade...

With the 9th pick in the 2006 National Football League Draft, the Detroit Lions select....

Santonio Holmes, Wide Reciever, Ohio State University. :sidelol::sidelol::sidelol::sidelol::sidelol:

Don't be surprised if that does happen

Because it would be hilarious if the Lions took yet another WR in the 1st round... since they have taken WRs in the 1st round the past 3 years...

2003 draft: 1st round pick on WR charles rogers
2004 draft: 1st round pick on WR roy williams
2005 draft: 1st round pick on WR mike williams

get it now?

I think he should lose the Y. Joe Harrington QB - Miami Dolphins.

There that sounds better...I'm already starting to forget about that goofy kid with the bad haircut in a Lions jersey. Maybe I'm just "teenboybandaphobic" but the name Joey just sounds weak.

No....but seriously. Don't you think Saban prefers to have 2 #1 RBs?
