Harrington's new start a hit in Miami (USA Today Article)

One thing I really, really like about Joey is his class. That kid has been dogged unfairly for a long time. This season is almost like a "Rookie" season for him. He still makes the big mistake, but, he's imroveing. Main thing right now is you can't ask him to do more than he's capable of. Let him have success, THEN start asking more.

Why would JH speak honorably about Detroit after the way they treated him?

He just does though.

Nice read, who knows maybe this might be the QB we have been looking for since Marino retitred. Grant it he's not going to put up great numbers. But with a defense the fins have and the running attack he just has to play smart to have the fins win.

re:

Nice article on Joey. Nice to see him getting noticed for playing well and improving each week. Let's hope he keeps doing it, the "Blue Skies" are the limit with him.

joey

Yeah, thats definately a big plus for Joey. Seeing as I just live accross the border from Detroit, I saw, and heard alot of his post game interviews and just how he handled himself and all the criticism, its always been that way with him. He always spoke well, never trashed his teammates, when in reality it would have been so easy to. He just seems to be a really down to earth respectful person. Even after beating the Lions in Detroit this year, he had all the opportunity in the world to bash that organization, and he downplayed the whole thing. Just like you said... classy.

And I agree with everything else you said... each week, he improves. He didnt stand a chance in this league his first few years in Detroit. Nice to see him getting another chance, not ridden right out of the league like some other guys in the past.

I like him to, he's very well spoken, even though I am a D.C. supporter, I wouldn't be surprized if he ended up being the starter.

Good read. He's all about class and his positive attitude is always welcome here. I hope he can have a productive career with us here and even if he leaves to get a starting job elsewhere (Just not another AFC East or AFC team), I'll be happy that he's finally getting a decent opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Doesn't eveyone remember the selfishness Culpepper displayed when Saban pulled him from playing..... Harrington was supportive of Culpepper throughout when he was sitting on the bench.....

I'll say this for him, he throws the out pattern better than fielder did! Dre Bly, theres one guy with no-class.

I don't think he has all that much talent YET but I feel that he can only get better. When he came out of college, he had ZERO development in Detroit. (the NFL should ban them of a top five pick until they can prove they won't destroy talent) As long as Joey stays with us, he's going to get better.( if we had gotten Carr, same thing applies)

I'm happy for his success and I'm glad that he feels like he's improving. If he can develop the long ball.... man....

I still want a Pep back at his old form, Joey can be our guy we develop for all I care.

If he doesn't start next season then I want Miami to draft JaMarcus Russell or maybe Brian Brohm because C-Pep is not the answer and won't be any good and don't want to waste another season waiting for Culpepper because he is a statue in the pocket and is stupid.

I want the same thing thats happening to Joey to happen to David Carr. While at least the houston organization and the players have stood behind David Carr... he needs out of there. He needs to be in a better situation so he can show off his skills, and play to his full potential. Same thing as Joey, and why he needed out of Detroit... some of these awful teams, are doing too good of a job ruining young talent.
