Hartline Highlights

I will say I honestly did not expect ANYTHING like this when we drafted him.

He's got all the "White WR" tags, but they are all accurate.

He's crafty, deceptively fast, good route runner, savvy player, understands the positions, and get the most out of his ability.....did I miss one?

I really like Hartline and I may be greedy but I hope he goes from being a decent number 2 to the best number 4 in the league.

Would love to roll out next season (or the one after) where Wallace is the number 2, Hartline is the 3....

To me he's just "a guy". Not bad by any stretch but also easily replacable if you had to. He's never met a line on the field he couldn't trip over. He's a good #3 or #4 but he hampers the big play ability of this offense when he's on the field as a #2.

You can forget about Wallace being a #2 on this team. He makes too much money and it's become clear that he's not in this FO's long term plans.

I can't believe we paid a clumsy wr as much as we did.

Headline is a #3 wr at best.

How can he be a #3 when he was 24th in yards, 26th in receptions and 57th in TD's among all receivers.

If he was indeed a 3 like you say he would be ranked in the 65-96 in these categories.

Looks like a solid #2 to me.

I think his stats have more to do with our WR corp than it does anything Hartline can do.

Hartline came up big last season! him and Tanny have great chemistry. Looking forward to seeing Hartline making some big plays next season!

maaan we were so good the first three games. its a shame we couldnt keep it going :/

Hartline is the type of receiver every team needs, but if you are relying on him to get you TDs you are in trouble.

I really like Hartline. think he brings a great safety blanket role to our offense. Just look at how bad our passing game became without him last year, it was night and day. I will say this though, if he would stay on his feet, he would have had an extra 100-200 yards on his stats. I think he does himself a huge disservice always diving for the ground. I can only recall one play (Jets TD) where he ended the play on his feet. He even falls out of bounds. It is just his natural instinct to fall to the ground. If he would work on his lower body strength, fight through tackle, and pick up some YAC he would viewed in a much more positive light, and be a much better receiver.
