Hartline: martin shared voicemail around lockeroom & laughed about it w team

The victim becomes the abuser and vice versa. Could this get any more crazy?

If this is true -- and I'm not saying it's not -- where has Hartline been the past two days? The voice mail story broke on Sunday night with the words on Monday morning. Yet Hartline waits until now? He could have taken the story in a different direction almost immediately.

None of it really matters. There will be a review, with other players and team employees questioned by a league source. Right now everything is seemingly trending in Incognito's favor but that can't hold up. Base logic. He's had so many offensive moments in the past that they will show up in Miami. Right now the players who will speak up against Incognito are not being heard. Ted Wells will find them.

end of story instantly!

Normally I'd agree with you, but watching these so called media ppl on ESPN, they seem very very dug in on this.

Where's Spesh now to come and explain why the big weirdo's mommy should come to her wittle boys rescue?

Maybe he's examining this from all of the angles so he can explain to us why Randy Starks, a guy who is mad at the front office and coaching staff, and very unlikely to be back next year, is taking up for Richie and, by implication, the team?

If this is true, Martin could be in big trouble, although I have yet to see any kind of credible link to anything other than someone's Twitter page.

This leaves me with a question, if Hartline and Clabo saw Martin joking around and playing the voicemail to others, why the hell didn't they speak up for Incognito immediately? It's not as if there was a gag order, as other players were talking about the situation. Without hearing Hartline's full story, the timing of this is suspicious.

Ouch.

They just showed Hartline live on NFLN. He basically said that they were told not to say anything, and they got tired of hearing Richie, Philbin, and their own names get drug through the mud so they decided "Hey, if you are going to give us ****, know our side of the story"

Hartline says the Dolphins ordered the players not to comment Monday but that they all decided to let loose and "defend ourselves" today.

Okay, that makes some sense, toward Hartline's delay.

Poor instincts by the Dolphins, though. The best way to stem something like this is to get your side out there immediately. Instead, they allowed the dialog to be one-sided for two full days. It was like a John Kerry move. Very difficult to get it back in the can.

I'm listening to Francesa on WFAN in NY and he and the people calling in are ****ing clueless. I don't know if they know what's being reported now, but if so, they're just ignoring it and running with the bully ****. I'm sure the ESPN jerk-offs are doing the same.

is it weird to say I love Hartline?

Did these guys forget they have a game Monday night and still have a good chance to make the playoffs? This can wait until later, everyone on this team seems to be a winy little girl who feels the need to talk to the press about every little detail ........Martin should have felt right at home with these thin skinned fragile school girls.....

They were told not to say anything about what? Players have been openly talking about the situation with the media since the story broke. Were they told not to say anything "bad" about Martin?

Now if only he could still play football.
