Hartline says the players were tired of being bullied by the media!

Now it's very very possible Martin was being bullied and didn't speak up, but it's becoming very clear that these players did not see or suspect anything happening. Who is the media to judge them or their locker room?

Also important to note the players still constantly brought there focus back to being focused on the game with Tampa.

The media trying to destroy the team may have backfired. This could very well have the opposite effect and unite them in a common goal to go out and kick some butt.

It's good Martin in medical care. After the huge deal this has become, and now the players supporting Ritchie, his mental health status needs to be closely monitored. If he is not strong, he may attempt suicide.
I'm not calling it, or hoping for it. I just think the current conditions make it a possibility for him. Having to go further with this, and go against these team mates, it cold prove to be too much for him.

I find it funny how some people around here think they have a better grasp of this situation than our own ****ing players who spend all their ****ing time with both Martin and Incognito.

Like someone else said, either our players are all soulless people, or this situation really is much more complex than what the media has been telling us. Not saying Richie is a darling angel, but come on, the fact that our own players are coming out in his defense should tell you something.

Well its a good thing that something would want to make them so calledly kick butt. You would think professional athletes had enough motivation already but yea whatever it takes. Im not so sure that it has an affect either way

I can't wait to watch the entire Hartline presser tonight when they put it on MiamiDolphins.com tonight. From what I heard of him today, I have my 1st man crush!

that Hartline jersey was money well spent!! Give 'em hell boys! Time to drop 40 on Tampa Bay!

That's hilarious, finally some fight back from this team. Hartline said the players were tired of outsiders attacking their coach, their values, their culture. Hartline and Tannehill have resorted my faith in this team with these new comments. I've been tired of this one sided story the media has painted on my team. Hartline just fought back. And it was awesome.

Us against the world! The Dolphins will rally!

First of all calling Cog's a leader is wrong, he maybe a good guy who the guys like and has his teammates back but he is the part of the reason we are in this mess so no he isn't innocent not by a long shot.....I hope they do want to go to war and fight for him on Monday night, but talk is cheap and I feel a much better strategy would have been to go out there and do it then talk about it. The media will eat this thing up, they are trying to win the PR war because they got tired of the talking heads saying they are leaderless.....I would have liked for us to have no comment on the investigation, maybe sent out anonymous quote here and there and then kick Tampa aass on Monday night in front of the country.....
Your position doesn't make sense. If they did not speak out now it would give the appearance of exactly what some of the critics are saying - that there is a lack of leadership in the locker room and that's how this happened. The leaders at the player level need to speak out and show everyone that there is a visible presence of leadership. Thank God for interviews like Tannehill's and Hartline's because they show evidence that there are intelligent, visible, and willing leaders in the locker room.
