He might be the most vital player on offense besides the QB.

He should have came back in yesterday. He was walking just fine. When the playoffs are at stake, you suck up the pain and play. Lots of players do just that.

I'm told surgery to repair PCL is not perfected procedure to point it's better to rehab, strengthen area and play without it.

Pfft ... he could have taped it and played on!

j/k

Hartline has the most heart of anyone on that team. If he could have come back, he definitely would have. He was not walking fine. He was gimping along the sidelines the whole game. He was lucky to just tear the PCL, but if you continue to play with a torn PCL, the ACL, MCL and LCL will NOT hold up. He would be in the hospital having surgery right now if he had tried.

So to you if one can walk fine, that's the same as running full speed, making cuts on the field, stops, go routes, slants, etc....all the while trying to catch a ball and avoid getting destroyed some a defensive player, it's so simple as to Hartline should've played?

Are you serious, you want the guy to come back into the game with a PCL tear?

He would just be a liability out there. You think he can cut and make the plays necessary to actually be effective with his leg torn to shreds?

WVDolphan said the same horse**** in the chat yesterday. That Hartline was a ***** for not continuing to play.

I did not know the severity of the injury when i made my comment.
But tough players play through injuries. At least they "Used" to.

I just think back to all those games where guys played through this stuff. Did what they had to do, to win. I miss those days and those players.

Njphinsfan. Are you a doctor? I didn't think so!

Actually, I am a certified athletic trainer and have seen my share of PCL tears. Not sure why you are calling me out when you clearly stated that you "did not know the severity of the injury when I made my comment". This has nothing to do with being tough. He could have ruined his career and shredded his knee if he would have played. But hey, if it would have pleased you, he should have gone back in.
