Last year, Hartline averaged 12.2 per catch, and 3.3 in yards after contact (in limited pay). Wallace had a 12.7 average, and the same 3.3 YAC.

In 2013, Hartline averaged 13.4 and 4.1 in yards aft contact. Wallace had a 12.7 average, an a worse 3.8 YAC.

Why pick on Hartline and not Wallace in this aspect of their games?

Personally I feel Hartline has hit his ceiling and doesn't fit in Lazor's scheme well. Wallace still has upside if Tannehill can hit him long. If they biuld chemistry-somehow- thta's a deadly duo. Plus Wallace is faster after catch with key blocks, room to run etc. How I see it anyway.

Wallace 15 TDs
Hartline 6 TDS

While I think Hardline gets some unfair criticism at times he simply doesn't have the physical tools that Wallace does. Wallace played with another level of toughness this year.

Also look at balls caught, total yards, and TDs

You seem very anxious for this. Ya know, anyone with a computer and a child's knowledge to use them can look it up. :)

In any case, something I should have included. Here ya go.

2014- Wallace had 67 of 108 for 862 yards and 10 TD's. Hartline was 39 of 62 for 477 yards and 2 TD's.

2013- Wallace had 75 of 137 for 930 yards and 5 TD's. Hartline was 76 of 129 for 1016 yards and 4 TD's.

2012- Wallace had 64 0f 116 for 838 yards, a 13.1 average, and 8 TD's with Ben. Hartline was 74 of 110 for 1083, a 14.6 average, and 1 TD.

Anyone can take what they like from this. IMO, 2013 is the best to compare because both had the same amount of targets, some team, and same QB. I am not comparing TD's, as Wallace has that by a wide margin, and 2013 being close does not matter much to me.

My point is that both average around the same, with Hartline a little better, in average per catch and YAC in spite of the speed difference. Yet some want to pick on him while giving Wallace a free ride for doing about the same. Go figure.

Brian Hartline has never been a detriment to his team. There is your diff.

We can critique Wallace over HArtline based on this, however the arguments again Hartline are overall play.

Hartline caught 39 balls, Wallace caught 69 balls. Hartline had 2 TD's Wallace had 10. Which was the more productive receiver?

Anyways it doesnt matter because we need better TD production from Hartline and better catch rate from Wallace.

Other tan TD's and Targets Hartline IMO actually looks better. Honestly if you release Wallace i would try and restructure Hartline and keep as the #2 and get a young #1 with Landy in the slot. Gibson is basically gone already, all signs are pointing to Wallace getting cut so i would try and keep Hartline as #2.

And if he doesnt want to restructure? Why should he? I wouldnt if I were him.

That would make sense. Tannehill and Hartline have clicked very well until last year when the was not targeted, He has been a security blanket for RT.

Hartline is not a great WR, and no one ever said he was but, he has played his ass off for our team, and should be given a little credit for doing that. JMO

Because he is a team player who loves being a Dolphin. Does not matter to many but, it does to me.

One had 10 td's this season. One has 9 td's in the past 5 seasons. Nuff' said.

because he knows based on his production last year he would make more off a restructure than as a Free agent when cut.
