Hartline

he had another 1000 yard season last year, the whole offense has been sputtering this season. The offensive game plan is getting the ball to Wallace, its not surprising he has little production.

The plan this year is to get the ball to the "money" guy, Wallace. hartline has been our number aka go -to receiver for a while now. this year that tittle belongs to Wallace hence more targets.

huh.. I was falsely under the impression the term 'spread' meant spreading the ball to multiple receivers... Wallace, being one of several options... crazy me

Makes no sense considering Landry has outplayed Hartline this year. Pretty lame excuse.

Maybe we should swap him with Mike Williams ,who wants out of buffalo. Contracts are both bloated

The offense certainly isn't sputtering compared to last season, I'm not sure where you're getting that from. We're vastly improved in both yardage and scoring, and if you look at the more obscure statistical measurements used to determine offensive success, we're also improved in almost all of those categories. I don't think the notion that our offense is struggling more than last season holds any water at all. In fact, I think you could say that through 5 games, it's demonstrably false. We had two bad games where we put up 10 and 13 offensive points. We also had games where we put up 33, 31, and 24 offensive points. That's better on the whole than last season.

need to insert Matthews in his spot. Matthews offers a bigger target, ability to fight for a ball and catch it with his hands, and yac

This entirely. Need to draft at least 2 receivers. Gibson hasn't been as solid as before. We need youth and playmakers. Hell id be open to a free agent, just depends who

Need to see if we can trade him before the deadline. He doesnt fit our new system well.

You people are all forgetting one thing: Brian Hartline has had two 1000 yard seasons. Not one, two. Have any of you had 1000 yard seasons? I didnt think so.

Keep your foul heresy to yourself you pagan animals, Hartline is Tannehill's favorite weapon and thus he can never be cut.

He will make a great Jet :lol2:

I've said before that I like Brian Hartline, but I'd be perfectly fine with trading him to the Jets right now. He's not worth 6 million dollars per year. I don't fear getting torched by him for the simple reason that he's never torched anybody before. If the Jets want to try to beat us with nothing but 10 yard comebacks, then they can be my guest.

I love it when people throw that stat up! Whatever will we do without his 11 career TDs?

"Coo I still catch it." One of the most delusional players ever to lace up a Dolphin uniform. Can't rely on him to make a tough play but he has a ridiculous amount of self esteem. The guys with self esteem should actually make a tough play. Go against a top flight corner, in a tough situation, and make a tough play. That will never be Hartline. He pads his stats against 3rd or 4th defensive backs when the coverage is rolled away from him. Great example of stats misleading you. Shareef Abdur Rahim averaged 20 and 10 regularly in the NBA but his career winning percentage in those years was abysmal. Hartline has that one skill, the toe tap on the sideline. The one time the guy gets into the endzone he promptly gets a penalty for some stupid ass dance. So, he's selfish, delusional, and not tough. Teams lose ballgames with the Hartline types.

He's got to go. We need some tough receivers. Landry is a start. The way he plucked that ball in the endzone is exactly the type of kid we need.

Roflmao I remember at the beginning of the year people telling me how teams fear Trashline! How they will double cover him maybe triple sometimes. I has hating on him because he is white!?!?! Where are all those member calling Trashline a poor mans Jordie Nelson? Well they were both on the same field yesterday, and only similarities they share are position and race.
