check out the sunsentinel website for the miami dolphins. a short video describes some of the latest news for the offseason. First off, we apparently have a man crush on john beck and WILL NOT be taking matt ryan #1 overall. those of u hoping for flacco out of delaware could also be disappointed. he's sayin if we're takin a QB, it'll be Chad Henne w/ the 33rd overall pick. Parcells apparently loves Michigan players...which also points to J. Long to us w/ the #1...sparano a former o-line coach, would love to coach up that guy.

we're also interviewing several DE and OLB who are NOT chris long, so we may pick up those pass rushers later on.

also we seem to be set at RB w/ booker, williams and brown.

opinions?
 
Wow, that was actually pretty good. I agree on all counts. Glad to see they are teaching Beck to throw over the top, I thought that his sidearm delivery was a problem especially having to throw over Long :woot:
 
We are set at RB with Booker, Brown, and Ricky.

I'd rather keep John Beck than draft an unproven, untested Matt Ryan. Chad Henne or Flacco wouldn't be too bad of a pick, as long as we don't draft Andre Woodson.
 
I like this draft except Calais Campbell instead of Groves and Flacco instead of Ainge.
 
Question: Why take a QB at 32 if they like Beck? With so many needs on the team I dont see a reason to take another young QB if they are confident in Beck.
 
I still can't believe this guy even suggested Miami let the clock expire and jump in after the first pick because they don't want to spend the money. No way they pull a Minnesota at the and let the clock run out and miss out on someone that might fill a bigger need. They will have done all their home work and not risk missing out on their guy.
 
great info but i recall it being Tavaris Gooden or w/e not GORDON. lmaoo
 
i would rather just stick with john beck than draft chad henne. henne is the very definition of erratic.
 
Nice video but some off his points were off base. Like JSBaugh Said if we do have a man crush on Beck why waist what is pretty much a 1st rd pick on another QB?

And I cannot believe he said don't be suprised if we pass on the 1st pick. Passing on the pick, wont work anyway because like what happened with Minnesota the players agent just demands the money that would have come from the lower pick anyway. Why risk that when we can be guranteed of getting the guy we really want by just making the 1st pick and having a deal in place before the draft?
