I don't remember where I saw this, and I have been trying to find it again, but...

I read an article about how Martin was looking forward to playing again, and something about looking forward to getting back with
a team and in the locker room and being with his fellow lineman etc.....

It struck me as funny the way it was said. Kind of like he had been out a long time with an injury and was itching to get back out there,,,
not like he had been bullied so bad that he left his team and created this big media storm...??

I read that too. Something about missing the relationships he built even more than football.

Made no sense to me when i read it seeing as he basically tossed out all of those relationships

It's sad that the NFL might be catering to this kind of walk-away-from-your-issues behavior. Who knows, maybe in the future Goodell will have a Humane Society pound where hurt or lost players can run from their former teams and wait for new ones to pick them up.

This is an odd comment by Martin.

"Once you leave the game, you find yourself missing the relationships you formed, more so than you miss the on-the-field play," Martin said at the time. "In my brief time away, I've already -- I miss that. I miss the camaraderie and brotherhood that you form in the locker room."

He misses the locker room?
More so than on the field play (that's a loaded statement) for teams looking for "players"

It would be nice if someone in the media hit on this......but probably not...

not excusing what RI and the others did.. but, someone needs to question why Martin contradicts himself.... did he get bullied or did he not?

If he likes the locker room, and he has been in only one, then sounds like he liked getting bullied (if that's what he calls it)

I don't think it's that hard to figure out. He wasn't bullied 24x7 so he has fond memories of the times he felt accepted.

more so, just PR to let teams know he wants to be in the environment.

You guys dont live in Miami. You've never been to Tootsies. Thats the strip club they would frequent, the one for the "meetings".

Gentlemen, these women are freagin athletes. Theyre built. Theyre baaaaad a$$. I $hit you not: you know the way a normal stripper works an average pole? These beasts climb a 20 ft pole and do that up there- no joke.

And if you have 700 on you, you get a personal tour of the acrobatics.

Trust me, bullied or not, youd miss the "locker room" too.

The guy is mentally weak, that doesn't go away because of the Well's report.
