I was talking to a friend of mine and he said the reason that Turner is not playing is that he is as dumb as a box of rocks.

These types of comparisons are very uncomplimentary and have the ability to hurt feelings. You must always keep in mind, rocks have feeling too. Ever heard of "Pet Rocks"?? In the future try being a little more sensitive when discussing our stupid players and objects created by God.

Before long we will have piles of rocks picketing our staduim demanding retribution, blocking the roadways, and even hurling themselves through our car windows. An angry mob of rocks can be a dreadful thing. Lets not turn them against us....just saying.

But don't they have to pass some sort of mental exam before GM's/Football Czars will draft them? Seems like a simple enough thing to find out, doesn't it?

Well Miami would have realized he's dumb as rocks before the draft, in the interviews, so.

He's not playing because he runs soft routes and can't get off the line of scrimmage in press coverage.

instead of a racing and seeing who gets the lowest 40 time maybe Turner and Ginn can take an aptitude test to see who can score the lowest

I have a hard time believing that this FO did not do their research on these guys before drafing them. He's just having a hard time adjusting to the speed and athleticism of the NFL game. Give him time, he'll turn out OK.

Time is not on his side. If they acquire a WR he is gone.

hes not gone unless hes horrible in training camp....

ginn will be gone before turner
With Ginn's improved play now that he has faced more single coverage and his ability on KO returns, Turner won't be here over Ginn.

Dude, you're acting like your opinions are facts. How do you know he runs sloppy routes and can't get off the line? I think the more accurate assessment of Turner is that he needed this year to develop behind some veterans of the game. I don't think our FO would give up on a draft pick that quickly. Look at Miles Austin and Vincent Jackson. Austin didn't catch one pass his first year on the team and VJack caught only 3 passes. I'm glad you're not running our franchise.

Ummm, Ted...you're namesake...the one on the team...he can't get off in press either...a fact that even Pat Kirwan and others of knowledge have opined... just sayin:ponder:

Why are so many Dolphin Fans willing to give players time to turn out "OK"! What is wrong with demanding/expecting greatness?!?! There are enough projects or The Typical Parcell's Diamond In The Rough Theory sprinkled throughout our roster. Receiver is especially a position in need of a upgrade!

Not to mention everything I have read and heard about Turner is bad real bad! He can't run routes, he struggles reading the coverage and knowing when to break off a route, he can't get separation, the list goes on. Not to mention he couldn't get playing time on one of the most unproductive receiving corps in the league.
