Me and my friend were thinking about going this year, and we know tickets are on a first come, first serve basis, but how early would we have to get there?
Has anyone here ever gone to the draft?

I went in 2002 when it was at MSG. I was in NJ at the time and took the train to NYC at about 7 am, and stood in line till 9 when they let people in. Had a really good time once inside, everyone was excited about their teams
I believe they moved it to the Rockefeller Center or something. It has become much more of an event now, and I did read that some Finheaven peeps are going to camp out downtown then head out at like 4 or 5 am to get in line.
Its still free, but starts later this year 11 am I believe. 5 am to 11 am is a long time to stand around...

It starts at 3 this year, that's why I don't know if the line will start forming later or what.

wow, that is a long time to drink beer and stand in line. the sad thing is that the dolphins fans dont have 10 hours of 2007 highlights to talk about for that long

Haha yea. The sad thing is if I go, I'd be going with my friend who is a Pats fan.
I went the year we drafted Allen. It's a fun time. Not a lot going on in between picks, but a fun time.
