Ronnie has missed at least 3 or four big runs every week. I don't understand why he never sees the cutback. No one is talking about him, but one big run could turn everthing around. It would give the o-line confidence, and maybe slow down some of the blitzing that all these teams are doing at the expense of Culpepper! I don't want want to say we need Ricky back, but I really believe that if he was here we may have a win or two more then we do! I thought that we were going to see some of Sammy Morris yesterday, but that didn't happen. What do you guys think?

Yesterday it was very difficult for anyone to cutback on that crappy turf.

Ronnie isnt going to get those runs until we start giving him the ball 25 carries per game. Mularky is depending on the pass way to much. Ronnie is supposed to be our guy so give to him and at least try to be a physical team.

I'm so tired of this. What you think you see on television isn't necessarily there. Our line is horrible. They aren't getting any kind of push. The oline's problem isn't confidence, it's talent. We're going to have face the facts. WE ARE NOT A GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM.

I'm pretty sure what you see on the television screen is what is actually there. You can misinterpret what you see, but what you see is what there. And I noticed a couple of times where Ronnie could have bounced it outside and seen daylight. But thats not the kind of back Ronnie is at this point in his career. We need to give him daylight for him to make plays, not the other way around.

The most glaring problem that I've noticed is that a lot of times, Ronnie will pull up and do a stutter-step before picking a hole. This can be attributed to a lace of confidence in the O-line, or just indecisiveness on his part.

Ronnie is a big boy, and I think if he hit his holes harder, the outcome would be much more positive. In all fairness though, he's doing a decent job with what's been given to him.

I am not saying our o-line is opening up any monster holes or that Ronnie has had a lot of oppurtunities. I am not trying to bash Ronnie either. I am just saying That he has had a few oppurtunities, and has missed. We drafted him 2nd overall, and we need someone to step up and make a play!

I actually noticed the same thing. it seemed to me that ronnie could have bounced it to the outside a couple of times. i think he is trying to stay too disciplined and run through only the hole that has been called. sometimes a running back needs to free-lance it a little bit, especially when the line was not even opening a crack for him in the middle. the one thing i love about ronnie is when there is nothing there he will carry 3-4 people for three yards. you could tell they were trying to open holes for him with different blocking schemes, i.e the counter trey they ran, triple tight ends, cross motion with the FB but they still could not get a hole opened up on the inside. ronnie needs to use that vision when it breaks down and bounce it ounce in a while...

No one is talking about him? He's being talked about alot on this board since the end of yesterdays game. I, for one, disagree with the bust talk and failure to hit the holes. There are no holes to hit because the oline is just not very good at opening them.

has anyone watch the games all year?how many times has ronnie gotten 3 yards, when he was hit 3 yards behind the line.in fact i feel its just the opposite.ronnie is rushing to get to the line quick, maybe to quick.but if anyone got hit behind the line as much has he has ,they would to.after watching the game on sunday. the one thing i noticed was no space at all between the tackles.i mean zero! it doesnt seem are line can get to the lb's 3 yards down field to create space.when was the last time ronnie was able to 5-7 yards untouched up the middle.or run a sweep to the edge that is sealed off,and able to get up field.also if we could get a push forward from the line-(even 2 yards),the cut back lanes might be a hole lot easier to see.instead of dodging, and praying for a hole to open. i really thought we would have a good,or decent running game this year.man was i wrong-i'm kinda stunned .

I think there has been some maybe very little but some holes that have open up for Ronnie. And he hasn't done anything when those few holes have opened up. I think he get happy feet sometimes when he is trying to make a decision. Now all joking aside except this I think Ronnie should pass more...

I think a lot of us are just used to Ricky with his vision and cutting ability, he could see an opening and move to it. Ronnie hasn't displyed that type of vision or movement yet.

its not even the wholes or cutbacks, his problem is he does that stupid stutter step and loses all his momentum, thats y he never seems to have much speed, he would be a good number 1 RB if he could just make 1 cut and go

And where, exactly, would he be going? Straight into the arms of an unblocked defender?
