has anyone posted a thread about how our defense is going to be so much better this year? for the first time in they're careers (other than when they came into the league) our defensive veterans are faced with the challenge of exceling in a new defensive scheme. these guys (you know who i'm talkin about) have alot of experience and i for one think they'll meet the challenge and exceed expectations. the offense will be better than last year cause there is no where to go but up. that will help the defense be even stronger. all that and and an awesome draft class and things are looking good.

I really like our front 7 but our secondary could end up costing us a lot of games!

Madison - Hes lost more than a step over the last few seasons.
Poole - Lots of upside but hes never started.
Howard - Very solid as a dime but clearly not a starter!
T-Buck - Solid S but hes no playmaker!
Bell - Is he a starting caliber S and can he stay healthy?
Daniels - Hes a rook.

Our secondary may be slightly worse, but definitely in the top 15 in the league IMO. Madison is still a great corner, Howard was a starter on a SB team just a short time ago, Poole had a great rookie campaign, Edwards has started, Daniels is a rookie but has plenty of potential, Tebucky Jones is a good player who is just as good as Sammy Knight (faster but not as many turnovers) and at FS we have a battle but Freeman/Edwarss were not exactly stellar last year anyway.
