i think its much better if someone is sitting down and watching a game and asks itself, "why is everyone wearing #42" or a son asks his dad why and his dad explains it. just a handful of 42s can get lost in the game

the only thing it hurts is players who want to be and just rock 42 for those reasons alone.
 
I think they should honor Roberto Clemente instead of just focusing on Jackie every year. Clemente is the reason many Latin players play baseball today, and he died trying to help people who were devastated by a hurricane.
