has anyone heard or read any coments by our greatest QB of all time about Daunte?

That thread has a few minor comments from Dan, but it got derailed rather quickly.

Essentially, Dan said that he's excited for the organization, think he's a great talent, with a cannon for an arm. When asked about Brees vs. Culpepper, he said in so many words that you couldn't go wrong with either guy, as both have been to pro-bowls.

No offense, but how much weight will his comments carry? It will just be another opinion. I would rather hear what a prior coach of Culpepper would have to say. Or even a player who previously played with Culpepper (except Moss).

Being the greatest statistical QB and the face of the fins I'd say it carries some weight. Also, if you've been plugged in we've hear from Denny Green and Robert Smith on 790 since the trade. Also, don't forget Moss wanted him back.

wuts your point the guy wants to know if marino said anything not if wut he says makes sense or carries anything

I listen to Dan's opinion, as he knows both that position and that organization inside and out, better than anyone. There's no one person on the planet more qualified to discuss what it's like to be the "star" for the Miami Dolphins, IMO.

That's like asking why would you care what your father thought of your report card. Dan Marino is the soverign father of QBs in Miami. We want him to be impressed with the team and who is playing in his shoes. NOT caring about what Marino thinks about the whole thing would be the real issue.
