if that was mueller's draft, i'd be ecstatic:

1 Brady Quinn
2 Dwayne Jarrett
2 Ryan Harris OT Notre Dame
3 Jonathan Wade CB Tennessee

another tenn. db? um nope. not even in the 4th.
i like everything else

me too look as last years mock see how close they were this could happen

i actually though the same thing. he looks like jason allen too.

i'd be happy as hell with the rest of it tho

Is Wade projected as a safety? With Allen moving back to CB, I think we need a FS most of all in the secondary. One that could also backup at SS would be great.

That would be a phenominal draft. I don't like the CB pick in the 4th round though. Not so much just because he is a db from tennessee but because he is a CB and if Jason Allen moves to cornerback, that position is really getting crowded with Will Allen, Jason Allen, Andre Goodman, and Travis Daniels!

In addition to my last post....possibly another O-Lineman with that pick....a possible center or guard prospect!

I don't want Jarrett (too slow), or any defense in the first 4 rounds. Give me Anthony Gonzalez, or Rice with our first or second second rounder, and maybe Kalil, Beekman, Staley, or Blaylock with the other second rounder, and perhaps even another o lineman, or offensive playmaker with our 3rd and 4th rounder assuming we don't surrender our 3rd rounder to washington to move up and select Quinn.

We absolutely don't need any defense this year, despite what those who obviously know nothing about our team may say about our D-line and secondary which is actually not too shabby, Especially with Jason Allen moving to Corner. And for those idiots who say our D-line is too old I say, We actually have alot of promising youth on our D-line with guys like Roth, Manny Wright, Roderique Wright, Vickerson, etc .

Promising youth who, aside from Roth, have hardly seen any downs in the NFL. It is just plain silly to suggest we do not need to address the defense at all in the draft. You should address BOTH sides of the ball every year. It's called long term planning. You can't simply expect all of these young guys to turn into future Pro Bowlers, much less consistent starters. It just doesn't happen.

Thank you for saying that, so I didn't have to.

.

combine numbers aren't everything, Jerry Rice had bad combine numbers and look at what he did, i am not saying Jarrett will be the next rice but there is a difference between track speed and game speed, and if you look at tape you can definitly see Jarrett does not run a 4.6 on tape.
