I cant believe our last playoff win was when we had fiedler and lamar smith, when we beat the colts, and wasnt the colts even in our division then?..that just seems so long ago,and to think weve only had one losing season since then and still havent won a playoff game, well hopefull all that changes this year.,,i cant wait..but that playoff game was very exciting, lamar smith was the man that day;)

Sadly, you are correct. That was one of the greatest Dolphins games I have ever seen.

I think the worse drought is our lack of appearances in the AFC Championship game. We haven't been there since 1993. Every other AFC team has made it to the title game since then except for Cinci and Houston!

That sucks!

Cleveland has not made it either.

Man I remember that game well. Was having some sort of church service at my parent's house, I was standing in front of the tv with my back turned so I could watch the game. I can't really remember what happened, but I remember one Lamar run at the end that sealed the deal, and I was ecstatic (I think a first down to seal the deal).

A week later went to Hawaii with my ex-GF, so obviously the game started really early, like 7 in the morning. By the time I woke up, it was like 62-7 and I promptly turned the damn TV off.

One of the best games I have ever been to. We did'nt even realize Lamar had broken 200 yards untill after the game. I remember it being pretty cold that morning. Fiedler had 3 interceptions in the first half, but somehow they got it done.

That was a great game! Lamar got it done that day. I remeber Vanderjagt having a chance to win it in overtime from 49 yards, but his kick was wide right. Sound familiar? That guy may have been a great kicker, but he was never clutch.

Heh, story of his entire career.
