from the last few years in training camp? I feel like there is more connections on deep passes, maybe a little more exposiveness.... over the past few years it always seemed like the defence just smothered the O....Hopefully this is a good sign....

Or a bad sign for the defense? I really don't buy much into at all right now though because from what I've read most of the big plays on offense have come against guys that wont be playing much if at all for us on Sundays. I haven't really heard about smith, davis, etc. Getting beat.

I was in on a call with Richie Incognito on Saturday that Dolphins website owners were a part of. You can watch the video on my site, PhinPhantic.com or on my Youtube channel, Txmedic5. I asked Richie about the pace of the practices and he said they are indeed faster and that he thinks it's going to really help during those 1 o'clock games. I think the WCO is what this team needs and if it shows even a little success fans are going to love it's long term possibilities.

For me what is the most exciting about this faster paced WCO is that unlike other offensive systems that seem to come out of nowhere from time to time, this one is a proven success if executed properly. Stuff like the Wild Cat and all that are flashes and then they are gone.

Miller is killing it. He is going to be so good for us. I can't wait to see him return some kicks, too.

I always felt our offense received more attention - with Ricky and Ronnie doing the wildcat, then with the acquisition of Brandon Marshall, it always seemed the defense was never talked about.

No, not in recent years. Statistically the sparano lead regime ran the ball more than anybody in the NFL the last few years, I saw that stat on espn last night. I can remember the last few years the offense looked awful during training camp even when we added daboll. Philbin is emphasizing a fast paced, high-tempo offense and it is keeping the defense on their heels.

The biggest difference is the QB position. People are underestimating David Garrard and how he fits the WCO system to perfection.

Last year, we had Henne and Moore... Now we have Moore who has done OTA's, Garrard and a hungry rookie QB.

I don't think so, with the relentless up tempo offense they are seeing, when the the Miami defense finally sees another defense, it's going to feel like slow motion to them.

Plus we now have a HC who knows WTF he's doing, I'm assuming that helps as well.

i cant remember when the offense has GOTTEN so many compliments this early in the season. an EXPLOSIVE offence is certaimly welcome.

Keep in mind the amount of snaps has increased so there are far more opportunities. Additionally, a lot of the TD passes are in one on one drills.

What I like is the amount of work being accomplished and the pace they are playing at.

Not sure where ESPN got that stat as

Miami was 6th and 11th respectively in rushing attempts over the past 2 season
with 914 total rushes

KC had 1043 rushes
Jags had 1001 rushes
Jets had 977 rushes
Oakland had 970 rushes
Texans had 969 rushes
Baltimore had 946 rushes
Denver had 944 rushes...............we had 914 rushes over the past 2 years

Let's just hope that all this positivity translates to that thing where our guy has the ball in that area where points are scored... That'd sure be nice...

Welcome to the 2000's Dolphin fans, we have finally left the 1900's.
