i read on this board that zach was questioned after the game about how he was taking the loss. he said "I'm fine, i dont need a tissue or nothin"(no doubt responding to seeing ray tear up)...i also saw a pic of ray coming off the field being consoled by a jet assistant(w/o any dolphin personnel in sight). i feel so bad for the guy, he's out there battling but nothing is going his way. if this is the case, that the team really has turned their backs on him, he MUST be benched... they will not win 1 game with him under center

It seems like no one cares about him right now, its sad but true. He is a teammate and should be treated like one.

I don't think so. I don't think our team turns it's back on ANYONE. They know Ray is battling and doing his best.

Did anyone see Ray immediately after the game?? Looked to me like he didn't WANT any company.

What do you say to a guy who has blown a Super Bowl season? "Thanks?!?"

After the first screw up game they were behind him. Even after the second one, they were behing him. Now, they feel like their support has been betrayed. They feel duped. The same way we all feel.
My heart does not bleed for Ray Lucas. He is a pro and know what is at stake. Le thim cry. I have been crying for three weeks now.

i almost cried ( i jad tears in ym eyes) after ray threw the low incomplete pass on 4th and 12... i was with ym family in my parents room and i threw the foootball i was os mad i had tears in my eyes...if he loses this week i will cry

I won't cry for naything Lucas does on the field excpet tears of joy when he is taken out in favor of anything else. For the amount of talking and amount of money he is being paid...ugh. We should have known better than to sign a lifelong JET fan onto our team.

You may have a point!!! Maybe we are "infected" by the infusion of Jets!! I say cut Lucas and Ward and see if we get better.

In Ray's defense, he's a lifelong Cowboys fan because his father was a lifelong Giants fan and he wanted to be antagonistic toward him.

But still. I don't feel bad for Ray Lucas one bit. He's a professional and a horrible one at that. Dave Wannstedt has made the single worst decision of his coaching career in Miami by sticking with Lucas yet again for the Ravens game. I'm sorry, but it is true. Worst than signing Heath Irwin to a big contract. Thats right, he has LESS of an excuse in this case. Lots of quarterbacks in this league end up starting games and can win them due to the talent around them. Just this year you've got guys like Marc Bulger, Todd Bouman, Tommy Maddox, Rodney Peete, and Kelly Holcombe coming out of nowhere to perform well.

Sage Rosenfels, step up to the plate. Its your turn.

To a man...

... there's no crying in football, you can cry in the locker room with your football brothers. But you can't do it every freaking game like Lucas does. It was obvious he was crying in the locker room after the 1st loss against Buffalo when he had his post game PC.

Football is a mans sport, men do not appreciate emotional ppl. To a man I'd rather follow someone who has a steady emotional make up than an up and down panzy like Lucas.

Fvck Ray Lucas. I hope his teammates are in fact turning their backs on him. Fvck him.

If he starts the Baltimore game I hope he takes a bad injury in the first quarter. And YES I do realize that likens me to the crust on the corner of your mouth after you wake up in the morning from a night of drinking, because I'm hoping for an injury to a player...one on my own team at that.

But as much as I hate what that makes me, I hate losing so much more. This team cannot afford to go 5-5. If it happens, kiss the playoffs GOODBYE.

Easy ck the football gods have hurt this team enough by wish for an injury to ray you never know where it will land, We can't afford another injury to one of our stars. You know the guy you want to get hurt never do.

Hey minus what about a groin pull can you cry then:lol:
