Hate for JT. Undeserved!

[FONT=&quot]Ok so I’m not really sure where all of this hate for JT grew, but did everyone forget whom we are talking about. YES, JASON TAYLOR maybe one of the best Dolphins to play the game. An ELITE defensive end. A former Defensive MVP we’re talking about here. Why all of the bad blood all of a sudden? Cuz he got on a show for 3 months while everyone else on the team was relaxing at home might I add. The man is one of the most consistent and hardest working players we have and will ever have. Despite the teams woes and troubles the guy goes out there busts his a$$ and still puts out a Pro Bowl season. 11 sacks 2 TDs etc… He has been a proud Dolphin from the get go and has never seemed to let up. As a fan you should be happy he isn’t b***hing and screaming like T.O., Ocho Cinco, Moss, etc. He clearly knows he is generously wasting his career away in Miami with a chance to win 6 games max next year. If anyone should be upset it’s JT, not us. Yet with sincerity, pride, and respect he keeps working. If anything Parcells should give the EXACT same respect to JT as he did to Zach. We all KNOW as fans he has earned it year in and out. If anything I’d like to see JT a Cowboy so he can win a ring with Zach by his side. They both deserve it. EVERYONE here knows it. The JT bashing needs to stop. Show some respect to one of the best players the game has seen.

I honestly didnt the whole thing but I know where your coming from, its sad when i see people bash Jt. How many star players in the NFL you think will go to constant rebuilding stages without saying anything. If I was JT I would have probobly demanded a trade to publicly, not classy, but a lot time its what is effective. The guy played on injured leg I believe just for that one win.

its not that bro, let me say this, all i can do is put myself in his shoes and think what would i do if i was him.....

For me, i'am a very loyal guy, if my boss or employer is paying me 10 million dollars a year to play football for him, then for me with my values and morals, iam 100 percent committed to my organization and will do whatever i can in my power to help make a difference, if it is training with the rookies to set an example because thats whats best for the organization....THEN SO BE IT.

Iam sorry, IMO, doing what hes doing only benefits himself not the company that has made him and his family a very wealthy group. This man is receiving his paychecks, he should be totally devoted and doing everything he possibly can for the franchise...Thats what i would be doing so i can honestly say, it does bother me a little that he made the decision to do it.

He needs to get his butt to camp.......period. You don't have to have a man crush on him. He plays, he is a millionaire. Jason get to camp buddy, get into the dolphins facility weight room and do some reps with your team mates. Pursue the career AFTER football. We were 1-15 and obviously things are going to be different with training camps coaches etc. so you need to get down there and push for something to happen either way- a trade or getting to be pals with your new team.

It's the off season. Things have been "voluntary" up to now. He has a right to enjoy himself. $5/hour or $5000/hour, end of the day you will do what makes you happy. JT is enjoying himself. He'll be back. He'll play his *** off. Fan's who have ridiculed him will forget that they did so. Or at least while they are on this forum.

What I find incredible is that Dan Marino, THE GREATEST DOLPHIN OF ALL TIME, fully supports JT and sends him a videotape wishing him well but we've got people bitching and moaning about him participating in the competition. Surely if Dan is ok with it, all you whiney, crybaby, haters should be ok with it too. After all, nobody wanted to win more than Dan. I assure you his opinion matters more to JT than anyone's on this forum.

dude its not hate its just that this team is going towards a transformation right now. they are getting younger and if wwe can still get something for JT at the moment then right now. Either way the front office goes about this is going to help not hurt the team. If JT plays fine we know what we have and we know what we're going to get and thats nothing but the best. If he's gone we can get something in return that is younger and can help out in a more troubled position.

That's bull. If you're so damn loyal, what difference does it make how much money you get paid? Go there now! Go give them your all, weekends, nights, early mornings. Hell, screw a vacation, the company needs you!

For me its not about the offseason activity. Its these 2 things......

He says he wants a ring.....well I say bs. I say he wants a ring sooner than later in order to jumpstart his hollywood career. Hence him wanting to go to a large market, a contender, or combination in a prospective trade.

The biggest problem is there is NO REASON he couldnt sign on here for 2 more years after the 2 he has left on his contract and STRIVE FOR THAT RING HERE. If he WANTED TO.

Well he dosent want to. And thats fine. Its a free country. But, Im not going to kiss his *** or even worse root for him to win a title elsewhere. He is supposed to be a CAPTAIN. At least thats what that "C" on his uni is supposed to mean. A true captain goes down with his ship. But, again he is more interested in going Hollywood than football.

And again, thats fine, but I dont want a guy like that on my team. Why do you think BP just looked at him? BP feels the same way I do Im sure. Piss on JT. Besides, what did he ever lead us to? A bunch of fold up jobs in the 4th qtr vs. the Jets. Thanks pal. See ya.

IMHO the only reason JT is continuing to play is the 8 million he is going to make if he dosent retire from the game this year. He isnt getting any 8 million dollar movie deals.

And on top of all that its a new coaching staff and FO. I agree that he really dosent need to be there for himself. I have no doubt he can play and would be ready to go week 1 whether he goes to this camp or any other camp before the season starts. But, when youre supposed to be the LEADER and there are young guys coming in and its a new staff, the guy should be there to set an example. Unless of course he really isnt a leader. I say BP should rip the "C" right off his jersey. Its a joke really.

And oh yea......did I mention we went 1-15. I would hope any player that was on the team last year would be at least as pissed about that as I am and playing around during a mini camp wouldnt even cross my mind. I would be so focused on doing everything possible to make sure a disgrace of a season like that never happens again.

Lets look at it this way.

Jason Taylor has decides that he is going to stay at his house for the offseason, but not go to the Dolphins training center, but work out at home. He doesn't show up at the training center until the mandatory training camp starts. Would we still be complaining? My guess would be no.

Also, on a slight side note, isn't the only training camp that has happened is the Rookies only training camp? The only other one that is coming up I believe is at the End of May, the begining of June. Jason is going to be done with Dancing next week and in that training camp. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong.

He's missing the off season conditioning program that lays the foundation for training camp. Anyone who says Taylor is always in great condition doesn't remember him gasping for oxygen in the season opener last year.
