I have a genuine question for you all. This may take its place among the white noise of receiver longings, but what are your opinions of malcom floyd? I know he's 6-5 and can stretch the field, and I have seen his numbers. That being said, I haven't watched a single Chargers game outside of Pennington's last stand. If you've got some sarcastic message board crap for a response... please spare everyone. Thanks, guys.
(p.s. I'm not so much asking if he's an upgrade over our current receivers... half of us would fulfill such a void. I'm interested in how he stacks up against other free agents.)

I think he is just Turner in a couple of years. He benefits greatly from having Jackson and Gates out there with him along with Rivers throwing him the ball. I'm not saying I would complain if they got him but I'm not sure if he would really be an answer for us and could cost more then he's worth in reality.

Thanks. That's kinda what I was afraid of... Sigh. Just going by the numbers alone, seems to me he's just good for a big play here and there. Nothing really consistent. Maybe it's just because, like you said, they have plenty of talent on the other end of Rivers passes.

I think he is good, especially bc of his size. If it wasn't for him being there, they would have never got rid of Chambers.

We can forget about Floyd, he is the reason Chambers was released. Floyd is officially their #2 now.

He's a FA tho and with the number of Free Agents the Chargers have I doubt he gets resigned. He was an interesting WR that I was taking a look at near the draft deadline. Definitely think he has the ability to be a #1.

Honestly tho I can't wait to see what Turner can do to see if we have a legit #1 or not. Until we see what he can do I'm not really looking at any other WRs.
