Flipped on Mike and Mike this morning and caught a discussion halfway through. Apparently Greenberg was trying to sell Golic that the Jets deserve to be the #6 seed and saying how the competition wasn't really there. Golic said something along the lines that the Jets certainly have a shot, but that it is really a coin flip amongst several teams. Greenberg fired back saying that the competition for the 6th seed was between the Jets, Raiders, Steelers and Chargers(I am 80% those are the four he said). Never mentioned Miami, even though they are the only team actually tied with the Jets for that 6th spot.

I think Clay got the play of the day by somebody ... I saw a little love regarding the win after the week we've had, but I don't care. Most of those clowns are idiots anyway.

This really shouldn't be a surprise, let's just be happy bullygate has kind of run it's course and we can enjoy normal football games again.

Miami's such an enigma. Before 4 pm est, I felt like we could possibly be the 2nd worst team in the NFL; every team but the Jags would beat us if we played them right now. Then we go beat a very solid Chargers team. I'm kinda shocked, and I was shocked we beat Cincy.
Tampa showed that they, right now that Glennon's got his feet under him are much better than their record. They're a capable team with at least as many weapons as we have. They were snakebit and we (Phillip Wheeler) helped them break their 2013 curse. Now they believe.

If you're honest, Miami's record might actually be better than our talent. Our O-line blows, most teams have better RBs (and LBs), our secondary has only one ave+ player, 2 if Patterson could stay healthy ("if my aunt had a penis...).
If all our WRs and TEs were healthy we'd be loaded, but injuries are the nature of the sport.

Anyway, 5-5 is pretty good for this particular team, and SD should probably hate themselves for losing to the roster of healthy players we could suit up for today.

Another thing: we're getting so much more out McKinnie than Martin, am I right? The fact that we were willing to start the season with Martin as our starting LT is a crime by Ireland and Philbin.It's been shown that Cogs was pretty replaceable too.

I agree 100% and from my untrained eye it's not even close. From what I've seen Tannehill should actually feel pretty confident the left side is protected. Whatever the little money difference Baltimore offered McKinnie over Miami Ireland should have ponied it up (we're paying it now anyway right?) and should be fired for not doing so. I have no idea why these guys thought coming into the season with Martin at LT would work out. We all knew he sucked as a player despite getting bigger and stronger LOL over the offseason.
