Haters are having a bad week!

Next week Sparano Might look like Vince Lombardi and the Sparano supporters will say "I told you so."

Henne had a great game, and I hope he continues to play well. He did get lucky on a couple of plays that should have been intercepted, but I did see improvement. It is however just 1 game. Let's be patience and see if he can continue to improve before we decide that we have found the answer at QB.

I think "great" is too strong of a word, not when he led his O to 17 pts during the competitive portion of the game BUT he certainly looked confident and he played pretty well. That should at least give you guys some hope for him. let's see if he can build upon this game.

I won't say great, but pretty darn good (knocking on great). And not because of his numbers, but his decisions overall were pretty solid. He was pressured a lot and the protection was rather shoddy for him. I think the little things are what made him impress me last night as opposed to his 400 yard 2 TD and an "end-of-game INT" performance.

At this point in time, I just hope last night's performance isn't an anomaly.

Last time I checked, ginn was drafted to return kicks. There was never a mention of him being a number one wideout. He couldn't help where he was drafted and the hefty south Florida expectations. Ginn now has 6 returns for touchdowns in his career. Not shabby.

We left some points on the field, but I don't really blame Henne for them. I say great because he did not kill us with turnovers. I thought he made good decision and some nice throws. I would be singing a different tune had NE actually caught those two bad passes, but he got lucky and I will take a little luck. I also like the fact that he is now willing to tuck it and run. He is no Vick, but it will give defenses something to think about.

You don't draft a guy in the top 10 to return kicks. he was expected to be a good WR as well.

The dropped INT in the endzone is entirely on Marshall. He points to the inside, cuts in, then cuts back outside right as Henne is throwing the ball. You can't do that to your QB.

I agree. You can tell that they are still not on the same page.

If this Henne shows up every week we'll be just fine.

we got lit up by probably the top offense in the league.....Yes, it was BAD!
anyone see what happened to the Steelers against a good but no where near as great of an offense?? It happens, we will be fine.
Henne showed an ability to lead this team and play well which 90% of the people on here stated was all they were looking for to show we have potential.
Now all of them have just climbed a different building to jump off of........

Zero moral victories we got handled and the orgainization from top to bottom got abused - thankfully Henne showed up or people would take their lives

2 for 13 on 3rd down. as good as he looked you cannot ignore that stat. lets wait and see what happens with Henne after a couple of games. don't plan on tearing down the Marino statue just yet.

To be fair it was 2 for 11 when he threw the ball, and Marshall dropped the one in the endzone. Still really bad, but we did not exactly put ourselves in a good spot to convert a lot of times with bad line play and penalties. He also converted 3-4 on 4th down when he threw, and the one he missed was that horrible fade call to Hartline. So, if you include 4th down and consider the drop the stats would be 6 for 15 on 3rd and 4th down. Still bad, but a little better.
