Haters!!!

The only two to say anything really trash-talky (or hatery or whatever) are Gosselin and Marvez. The rest were pretty true or nonsensical (Berman). You said it yourself, saying this team will be good or anything more than the beginning of a rebuild would be a risk, meaning it's highly unlikely.

It's a fairly young team with a new coach that addressed the most important position in football first. It's going to take time, but they're on the right track. These guys aren't far off in their short assessments.

I know I'm a homer and always optimistic but, I really feel that we've upgraded. We have most of our starters returning and we finished on a 6-3 run last year. Some of our starters are a year more experienced and have a full training camp to work with (Odrick, Misi, Smith, etc). People like Sean Smith, Vontae Davis, Reshad Jones, and even Nolan Carroll should make significant strides forward with Kevin Coyle's guidance. I don't see our QB issue as an impairment....instead, I see it as better than last year. Most of the media just follow what every other media hack says. We just need to win and prove to those people that they have been misinformed and haven't really done their homework on our team.

I was going to say only Glauber and Marvez (who has turned into a Dolphins hater since he left the beat and the sun-sentinel). Also, Ira Kaufman saying that the "drab offense continues to torment Dolphins fans"...how does he know? Has he seen the new offense in action against another team?

The rest of them I really have no problem with, until proven otherwise they're right. Pat Kirwan I agree with, Collinsworth I agree with, Gannon's not wrong and Pompei (though I don't agree with his ranking) is not wrong.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 31): Real ''Hard Knocks'' will be taking place every Sunday when hapless Dolphins take field.

He is such an ass-hole, what the hell is his problem anyway? He's on the local radio all the time, too, talking his crap. Did something happen to him down here? Its like he's got it out for this team.

BLA BLA BLA!!! Same old regurgitation spewed out by the media. Don't care.

I recall listening to Marvez on the local radio here a year ago saying he was never a Dolphins fan even though he grew up here. He said he rooted for the Chargers. Dude is a troll. He mentioned that he went to the classical playoff game in 82' between the Chargers and Dolphins as a kid and fell in love with them. I bet he is traumatized by his school buddies talking crap about him not being a Dolphins fan when he was growing up.

Not only is here on WQAM a lot, but I throw up in my mouth when they introduce him as Alex "Marvelous" Marvez. :puke:

You guys who whine about the media are the worst. Were you seriously expecting them to praise a team that isn't very good and hasn't been for ages? It's time to start being realistic about the team, and most importantly, stop giving a **** what the media thinks.

As a Heat fan I could care less what the media says. I'm pretty much numb to anyone questioning, bashing, or criticizing my teams. What I've learned is that even though a team has major talent and wins the media will still point out a billion of their flaws (see Miami Heat..lol). Who cares about the media.

If the Dolphins rolled out the Pro Bowl team on opening day the media would point out the quality of their Gatorade is not good enough for them to win a Super Bowl.

Yeah, yeah, we're just killing time on a boring Tuesday afternoon at work... give us a break, will ya? I just had to comment about Marvez because he's on the local radio so much and its hard to find a guy that seems to hate the Dolphins more. I mean, he's not even shy about it. I have no idea why they keep asking him to be on the air. Yeah, that's what I want, tune in to my local sports radio to hear this troll trashing the home team. Really QAM?

Some of our own Fans (several on this board) are Haters... What do you expect from the media???
