Why are people hating on Ginn saying he will be gone next year? We don't exactly have the best core of receivers right now as it is. All we have to do is mention the guy with the last name beginning with H and ending with N to realize that. Parcells likes big receivers, okay great, fine, dandy. If we get rid of Ginn we lose our fastest wr! I think that only having big possession receivers would be a mistake and severly limit your offensive production. You can at least stretch the field with a speedy guy in there, even if he's a decoy. Ginn has had ONE year, and he showed us all the glimpses of return ability with a crappy special teams at that! We should have a much better special teams unit this year. As a receiver he should have more time to run his routes with a hopefully much improved line, and I see him having an excellent season. Thoughts

I don't think he will be gone. I think he will make a great #2 after we find a #1 WR.

I sincerely hope they don't get rid of him,I like Ginn and he had some solid play last year. What I'd like to see is him playing WR more often.I hope he lights it up in training camp.

I am not one of those people who is wanting to trade Ginn (unless some team overpays for him), but it was a very stupid pick.

You just do NOT draft a WR in the top 10 who was the #2 or #3 WR on his college team.. When you have a top 10 pick, you draft a guy who was at the very least the very top at his position in college..

Even though I had Patrick Willis in my mock draft last year, I said right after the draft that if Miami was deadset on going receiver, that Bowe has a much better chance at becoming a #1 receiver.

And look at what Bowe did last season with Damon Huard for his QB and a bad O-line.. Bowe had 70 catches for 1000 yards. - as a rookie..

Bad draft decisions like that one have killed the dolphins.. Thank goodness we have Parcells guiding the team now and into the future.

Ginn isnt goign anywere.... Worst case parcells makes him a nasty #2WR

Too much $$$ to Release

what in the world ginn was not the number 2 recieve at OSU watch the championship game funny how there dynamic offense went to crap as soon as he went out the game and uhm hello the chiefs oline is far from bad and when you have the kind of runnning game the chiefs to it makes it far easier

bro, the get rid of ginn thread was pure idiotic. Having big posssession reciever doesn't helpour quarterback, ask how is that working for JacksonVille? playmakers come at the reciever position come in all shape in sizes.

i am of the opinion that ted ginn will be nothing more than an average NFL WR if anything. i never agreed with the pick, and im not prepared to change my opinion on him just because hes a Dolphin. for the sake of our team, i hope im wrong, but i think hes going to suck. thats my opinion, as it was for a good majority of dolphin fans last year, and im sticking to it.

Huh??? Ginn was the #2 WR at Ohio Sate in both 2004 and 2005 behind Santonio Holmes and then in 2006 he was the #1 WR

AND pretty much every game he played in 2006 he had the opposing teams #1 corner on him

what in the world ginn was not the number 2 reciever

.Santonio Holmes was their #1 receiver the majority of the time at Ohio State. Look it up.

And after Holmes left in 2005, even Ohio State's coach said that Ginn wasn't their #1 receiver as he said he wasn't their #1 option in the passing game- their coach said Gonzalez was (words right from their coach's mouth).

Furthermore, and since I brought Bowe up and that I wanted him ahead of Ginn in the draft--- if Ginn and Bowe were on the same team in college, or Pro, there is no way Bowe wouldn't be a #1 receiver over Ginn.. Dwayne Bowe was just flat out a better receiver in college. And Bowe has shown to be a much better receiver than Ginn in the Pro's already, by a mile and then some..

And anyone who denies that is just a flat out homer or never saw Bowe play football.

If Ginn was this #1 WR talent in the NFL, we wouldn't have every dolphin fan and their grandmother wishing to trade for Chad Johnson or begging the front office to bring in (or draft) a #1 WR..

With that said, I don't hate the guy, but it was a stupid pick when you have a pick so high. Guys with speed who can return punts can be found anywhere. And much lower in the draft.

Bowe also started 15 games with a veteran QB. Ginn had 9 starts with Lemon and Beck.

also, in comparing Ginn and Bowe, I think you have to include the returns with Ginn. with Ginn's 2148 all-purpose yards vs Bowe's 995, I don't see how Bowe is clearly the better football player or more valuable than Ginn. imo, the fact that Ginn is a dangerous returner validates the higher draft status.

wow now Ginn bashing... it seems people just wanna throw away anyone drafted last year... eventhough that was one of our best drafts in years... Parcells loves Ginn and Teddy ballgame is going nowhere... hes gonna be an explosive player for our offense, i am so excited for him this season

people can bring up the wat if all they want hes not going anywhere and in 1 -2 years will have 1000 plus yards with 10 plus td.
