Hats Off To Dan Henning

Kudos to the innovative play calling! I can't say enough about the game plan and spreading the field for CP. The Jets were conservative last week trying to run first on the Patriots, this was the right game plan to beat them.
 
It was David Lee's Idea and Sparano's decision to use it, but good job of calling the game by Henning. I think execution was the problem up to this point.
 
That was fun to watch! I don't understand why the Pats never adjusted to it. Props to the entire coaching staff. Wow, it actually felt good to watch a game again!

Good point. They used to be one of the best teams in the league at in-game adjustments. Maybe a fall from grace is underway...
 
I fully expected Belichick to shut that play down at half time. I've never seen a play, single wing/spread formation, or any other for that matter, work repeatedly so completely everytime! Your right Myles, what happened to Bills halftime genius at game adjustments?
 
I couldn't be anymore happier than how this game was called. We mixed it up and we weren't so predictable. We threw the ball on running downs and we didn't do the same stupid draws and tosses. The play calling allowed our line to fire off and get a good push and we mixed it up with runs and passes perfectly. Each play set up the next. Remember this was New Englands defense that pretty much was healthy, so if we can do it to these guys then we should be able to do it to almost any D we want to. Hopefully we can build off this and go through the bye week and come out in 2 weeks with a similar performance.
 
Today was about the best Dolphin "fan" day since...well they bet the Pats last time maybe.

However as great as it all is I can't help be cautiously optimistic. I have never seen such poor in game adjustments (from the pats)at any level above high school in my 35 years of watching football. I don't foresee many weeks where we have one play that we can do whatever we want with.

That being said IMO the theory of Belacheat being a genius to me is dead. Or maybe it was just that they didn't have video of that play.

They can't cheat nomore how can he make the adjustments without knowing everything like all those times before lol.
 
good plan by henning, i guess we could call him "mr. perfect" a pop quiz for all of u wrestling fans, where was this at the beginning of the season

It's kind of hard to get things going when you have to throw out the gameplan because the other team is scoring at will against the defense.
