• Miami punter Donnie Jones, who booted four punts for a gross average of 51.3 and a net of 47.0, both season highs. Three of his punts were placed inside the 20, one of which resulted in a Miami safety on the next play. Three of Jones' punts traveled longer than 50 yards.

Donnie and the special teams guys (super fast Eddie Jackson and Bryan Gilmore) did a great job last week. Even better is that they have been doing excellent all year!!!

Saban was very smart in keeping a great coach like Keith Armstrong. AND had great foresight in letting Donnie get the job over Matt Turk.

Also i believe this was donnies second special teams nomination.

I dont know, Charlie Baggett did an outstanding job with the Vikings. Not just with Moss but with there other wr's as well.

I think he can and will improve BUT, as of right now I cant stand watching the guy boot 65 yard punts when the enzone is 35 yards away. Also noticed (with the exception of last week) that whenever we NEED a 65 yard punt he shanks it for 35 yards. Its happened more than once. With that said.. he obviously has high potential for Saban to be so high on him.

He is by far the biggest surprise so far for the Fins this year. I wasn't happy when Turk went down with a injury and ended up cutting him. But thats why i am a fan not a coach. He is the man. +1 cool points for Saban!!!
